ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced Swift Pro PG248QP, featuring an innovative FHD (1920 x 1080) 540 Hz (OC) Esports-TN (E-TN) panel for the smoothest and clearest visuals ever. It's the fastest gaming monitor available today and is up to 50% more responsive than traditional TN panels. The PG248QP boasts numerous features that will appeal to esports gamers, including NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 (ULMB 2) technology for supersmooth visuals, the NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer for measuring system latency, and a unique base with retractable claws to free up more desktop space for a keyboard and mouse.

Made for esports pros
This groundbreaking ROG Swift Pro esports gaming monitor series pushes the boundaries of speed and responsiveness to provide pro gamers and enthusiasts with unparalleled gaming experiences. The PG248QP uses a 24.1-inch E-TN panel to deliver stunning visuals at a buttery-smooth 540 Hz (OC), making it the fastest gaming monitor available. Its features include an adjustable base with retractable claws that ensure a smaller desktop footprint, leaving more space for a keyboard and mouse. The PG248QP meets the requirements of DisplayHDR 400 certification to immerse gamers in incredibly lifelike gaming worlds bursting with color.

The inclusion of NVIDIA G-SYNC Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 (ULMB 2) provides over 2000 Hz of effective motion clarity. Also, the NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer gives users an accurate measurement of system latency.

Immersive audiovisuals
A built-in ESS codec enables the PG248QP to deliver up to 32-bit 384 kHz PCM audio with near-zero latency, surround sound, and an ESS DAC for lossless audio processing for heightened in-game awareness. Wide-ranging connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, a USB hub and earphone jack, ensuring ultimate compatibility. Plus, a tripod socket on top of the stand allows users to mount devices such as a webcam or streaming equipment.

This is nuts, I wonder if any setup can max this out even with now that CS:GO is shut down. Valorant perhaps?

You can still hit 450+ FPS in CS2 on a RTX 4080 at 1080p, so I'm assuming it should be able to hit the same at 1680x1050 on a RX 7900 XT or RTX 4070 Ti.

Kind of ironic these ultra expensive screens exist solely for playing games with the worst graphics, it makes sense for competitive players but I wonder how many of these they actually sell, or if it's even worth it.

At least with the 200-300 fps range it was more achievable for a lot of fast paced titles with a 4090

League of legends gets weird issues at around 500-600 fps, and the highest readily available fps lock is at 240. This display is pretty useless for that game at least, because while you can push enough of frames, the game becomes unplayable.
