Also, I'm no ram expert, but isn't 1.6V a tad on the high side for normal, everyday uses ?

I know the tweakerz out there tend to push stuff to the limits, but my last venture (admittedly a few years ago) into DDR4 o/c's stopped @~1.375V to get a stable ~3600mhz, on intel rigs at least

Yeah, 1.6v is pushing it, Samsung B die can get hot if not cooled.
I run Micron E at just under 1.4v for 3867 on 12600k, I am MC limited not memory sticks.

We need a review of these kits, because the 5333 16Gb kit starts @£195 which is DOA imho, when you can geta 32gb (2x16) DDR5 CL30 6000 kit for £103. What CPU is going to be able to take adavantage of DDR4-5333 speeds? The sweet spot for Ryzen 5000 is 3733 and 3600 for 12900k, after which its just deminishing returns afaik.

Some people hanging on dearly to DDR4 actually would get that. There are 1700 DDR4 boards that are still selling too.

Yeah from what I last checked, prices are already going up a lot for DDR4 now, the bottoming out has passed, and its upwards only from now on as supply dwindles.

I have some nice DDR4 4000C16 B die sticks. Did notice the price dropped, so maybe it will go up again.

I've got a DDR3 kit that was over the $1500 when it launched and it's only 2x4GB. Some people will pay for the speed.
