MSI, the world's leading manufacturer of true gaming hardware, is expanding the hardware possibilities for all gamers. We're proudly introducing the latest line-up of monitors showcasing cutting-edge Rapid VA technology, delivering an immersive curved experience and lightning-fast response times. The response time can reach 1 ms GtG to reduce monitor ghosting in games. These monitors come equipped with the WQHD 1000R rapid VA panel, offering refresh rate options of 240 Hz or 170 Hz. Gain a competitive edge and make precise decisions in fast-moving games with ease. With the support of gaming intelligence, users can configure screen functions effortlessly through mouse operations, effectively replacing the need for physical buttons on the display. In addition to a night vision feature that empowers gamers to adapt to visually challenging dark scenes, this software offers a Smart Crosshair that dynamically adjusts its color to match the game's background, firmware updates, and KVM functionality with just a few clicks.

Quantum Dot technology
With MSI's innovative Quantum Dot technology, both the MAG 325CQRF-QD and MAG 275CQRF-QD monitors boast extensive gamut coverage and higher peak brightness, delivering unparalleled vividness not only for gaming but also for productivity tasks. Prepare to be captivated by the most lifelike and vibrant colors, enhancing your overall visual experience.

Besides, MSI also released MAG 325CQRXF and MAG 275CQRXF with 240 Hz high refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The 2 models also passed the VESA DisplayHDR 400 and ClearMR Clear Motion 7000 Certification for stunning image quality.

Always improving, MSI will keep challenging itself in the design of gaming monitors, and ensure that you are always one step ahead of your opponents.

MHM. 1ms GtG VA.

Keep believing. Putting it on a spec sheet doesn't make it so though.

If they did achieve a real 1ms GTG VA, there's probably enough Ghosting to show Caspar the friendly one on your screen.

Also wtaf? Why are these panels even used in the same series? The gap between 2500:1 and 4000:1 is huge, and, fun fact, the DisplayHDR version that is certified 400 nits, has a static contrast that is horrible by VA standards. 3000:1 is honestly bog standard, more being better. So you can get a non certified HDR 'ready' (whatever the fck that means given they show no HDR brightness rating right underneath) of the same diagonal that is arguably better in static contrast, which is the one unique selling point for VA, while the CQRXF is loaded with bullshit features, 240hz and a shitty panel. Nice.

This reeks strongly of 'we found some bottom barrel VA panels, smashed together some spec table and call it a product'. There is no rhyme or reason to these four monitors relative to each other, apart from the fake 1ms.

I run VA, high-end VA panels are overrated on panel blur, however nothing touches TN 0.5ms with DyaC+

VA is fine if you want good blacks and don;t mind a bit of blur, VA is much better than it used to be.

I'm not so sure they are bottom barrel. Sure they suck at HDR but as you push a higher refresh VA panel contrast does tend to suffer. These should've been marketed more for their high refresh properties and dumped all the HDR marketing, which they'll suck at.

And no, they won't be 1ms, in any case. But they might be tolerable/decent (unlike most VAs) and have better contrast than a TN or IPS.

Currently running the two MSI VA panels in my system specs. The MAG241C (purchased back in 2018 so it is long in the tooth), has started to exhibit flickering lines along the bottom of the panel that pulse upwards to maximum maybe 3/4 of the way up the display. Persists through different cables (both HDMI and DP), different driver versions, different ports (on the monitor and GPU). Figured it was just the monitor on it's last legs, but the funny thing is, after a couple minutes, it goes away. Finally located some discussion about the issue and seems like it could be related to the panel needing time to heat up.

Not sure if they're which panels they're actually using, but the fact that the last comment in the linked forum thread mentions my main monitor exhibiting the issue would give me pause before purchasing another MSI VA panel. It's unfortunate really since I do find myself using my computer in the dark often, so the contrast ratio is nice. But the IPS panels I've seen do look quite nice and I wouldn't mind giving one of those a try

A worthy upgrade from my Odyssey G5 lol

> Curved
> Va
> +144hz
> 27-31" 1440p

I'm sold, looks at the bad quality lately of Samsung monitors, aside from that I only see the Odyssey G7 (240hz) as an upgrade.. for a better VA panel.

Altho HDR is dogshit anyway, I already have a 4K tv for that.

yea im not aware of any non-G7 monitors from Samsung that doesn't suck badly versus their price. I suppose depends on what kind of contrast you want for your cinematic video games/ videos, VA might be the only choice given current OLED price and lifetime disclaimers. Otherwise tons of cheap but good IPS option.
I would want to see review of these "rapid" VA though, hopefully cautious.

Totally worth watching to see how they turn out XD
