So looked at configuration page and they charge $66 for removing webcam and mic, but at the bottom of configuration page they charge additional $47 to remove webcam. Also Eurocom to overcharges for SSD and RAM upgrades beyond reason, making them a good brand to avoid for most.

Whenever I've been in the market for a new laptop I've always had a quick look at Eurocom, & every time they've been way more expensive than pre-builts from the big brands. What am I missing here, why do people buy these over cheaper pre-built alternatives? There's no real end user upgradability advantages, they look to be the same or worse build quality, I just don't get it.

Spotted this about year ago. This level of incompetence and broken listings which cost real money, seemed like total scam. Not to mention the options are very limited.

As about "modability" "upgradability".... these guys seems really missed the Barebook era. And long time ago, mobile CPUs used to be socketed. It's just for "ultra portable" compact from factor, CPU's and RAM became soldered.

But how this all is limited to only intel/nvidia, is hardly a surprise. I don't know any business side, and details, and reasoning behind these model's decisions, as I'm just regular "consumer". But yes, AMD doesn't have CUDA for GPUs, and they don't have amounts and availability enough for corporate clients. As intel indeed can produce en masse. But at least for what is already available in CPU space, I think AMD is not so much worse in terms of workstation, as for example intel.

Like really? They made the absence of included HW as a paid feature? Or they imply people are so dumb, that are unable themselves to detach the internet cable from the port, or shut down wi-fi connection for free? Does this have to be this complex and dependant on manufacturer?

Make the platform modular, so manufacturer doesn't have to include it, instead of removing. That would be much cheaper. Not to mention third-party webcams exist.
