GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, and hardware solutions, introduced its latest High-End Desktop (HEDT) marvel, the TRX50 AERO D motherboard. With perfect support for AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX-Series and Ryzen Threadripper 7000 Series processors, the TRX50 AERO D is designed to elevate content creation and AI operation experiences to new heights. Prosumers can now enjoy workstation-level performance at home.

The TRX50 AERO D features versatile expansion options to support multiple GPUs and PCIe devices, enabling efficient handling of demanding workloads, such as the NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation professional graphics card and the AORUS Gen 55 AIC Adaptor. Three PCIe x16 slots design provides superior performance for AI training, content creation, design rendering, scientific computing, and large-scale data analysis. Meanwhile, the triple-slot width design ensures enough space to accommodate large high-end graphics cards, offering better GPU compatibility and more effective cooling. Furthermore, the innovative PCIe UD Slot X can achieve a remarkable load-bearing capacity of up to 58KG due to its one-piece design, securely fastened to the dedicated backplate.

Powered by an all-digital 28-phase design, the TRX50 AERO D can unleash exceptional performance with the latest AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, making it the most powerful HEDT platform for builders. The advanced thermal design includes an enlarged heatsink with a heat pipe in the VRM area and an M.2 thermal guard, providing high-efficiency heat dissipation to ensure the system stays cool while running multitasking or resource-hungry applications.

TRX50 AERO D support quad channel DDR5 RDIMM with a maximum capacity up to 1 TB for premium memory performance. In addition, the TRX50 AERO D offers cutting-edge connectivity, including lightning-fast data transfer with dual USB4 Type-C ports, each providing speeds of up to 40 Gb/s, Wi-Fi 7 with GIGABYTE's Ultra-high Gain antenna, and 10 GbE/2.5 GbE dual LAN connectivity. With four onboard PCIe 5.0/4.0 M.2 slots, the TRX50 AERO D is perfect for content creators, enthusiasts, and AI operations, allowing for RAID configurations of multiple NVMe devices to handle demanding workloads.

Moreover, GIGABYTE's exclusive DIY-friendly innovations in both hardware and firmware make it a breeze to set up your build. The newly designed M.2 EZ-Latch Click enables screwless installation of M.2 heatsinks when combined with the M.2 EZ-Latch Plus, allowing for tool-free installation of M.2 SSDs. The upgraded user-centric UC BIOS offers a redesigned UI and UX, featuring a Quick Access panel with customizable option slots.

The HEDT motherboard TRX50 AERO D boasts cutting-edge technology and user-friendly features, delivering exceptional performance and versatility, making it an excellent choice for content creators, enthusiasts, scientific computing, and AI operations.

The TRX50 AERO D will be available on November 21st.

Finally USB4! OMG.
Well, since it uses the Maple Ridge controller from Intel and also has a DP-in port, those are most likely Thunderbolt 4 ports.

I just wish that the slots had a better layout to support a 4-slot GPU. Personally, I didn't plan to buy another RTX 4090 for a new TRX50 system, and the TRX50 offerings from Asus and Asrock don't look that great either.
