It runs at maximum RPM whether you want to or not and whenever you try to calm it down and lower them it starts spinning fans even harder. You paid for the full RPM and by golly you will USE all of it gosh darn it.

Be grateful... at least they didn't swap the word Super for AI... in the end it wouldn't make sense either way... as bullshit PR language rarely is about making sense. But no AI Buzzword in 2023... phew man.

What is it with Biostar only releasing lower-end boards for AM5?

They can't afford to compete with the big four: Asus / MSI / GigaByte / ASRock. It is a miracle that they are still present on the retail market, given the number of big names that left retail.

Reason they survived (contrary to Abit, AOpen, Chaintech, Soltek, DFI, FIC, EPoX, Soyo, ECS...) in retail is that they picked their battles smartly - they make limited number of boards with any chipset, but they target market position where competition is not so present. Lower end B650 boards are few and between - Biostar comes to rescue.

But for Intel-platforms they release "halo" products like the Valkyrie-series and even mainstream higher-end "Racing"-series boards? I don't get why they'd commit resources for those Valkyrie-boards, that as you say really can't compete at the super high-end (due to lacklustre bios), instead of putting out a decent ATX-board for an AMD-platform.
