So with all 4 slots occupied its DDR5-4400, hopefully with 2x64GB current 7000 series CPUs will run those at DDR5-5600 speeds which would be quite benificial for photo editing purposes.

Edit: its interesting that so far all 4 top motherboard makers have demonstrated these kits on AM5 platform and not LGA-1700.

The maximum Memory limit for the different versions of Windows 11/10:

  • Windows 11/10 Pro: 2 TB
  • Windows 11/10 Pro for Workstations: 6 TB
  • Windows 11/10 Education: 2 TB
  • Windows 11/10 Enterprise: 6 TB

Really don’t know why MS have to put an artificial software limit on RAM capacity these days, if the board supports it just let us make use of it. I’ve always ran the pro versions since the XP days so 2TB RAM will be extremely overkill for many years as a gaming system. If they have to cap the home version at least up it to 512GB or 1TB for god sake.
