Cooler Master Presents New Case Designs at CES - Updates NR200P Series

Cooler Master has showcased a wide variety of new case designs, as well refreshed versions of enthusiast favorites at CES 2024—the NR200P Vision was given special placement on a purple lit podium. This striking revisement of CM's original NR200P model presents itself as a futuristic concept—a crowd of attendees was drawn to this compact spectacle. Cooler Master states that NR200P Vision's feature set would normally be reserved for high-end or studio-level enclosures, but they have worked on integrating these into a space-saving profile. Support for 240 and 280 mm liquid coolers is mentioned on their interactive tablet display, as well as a provision for large GPUs (356 mm long, 160 mm high) via a vertical mounting system. An extra holder will be included to keep everything firmly in place. TPU staffers noticed that the Vision was fitted with wood (effect?) feet, suggesting that some style notes have been taken from Fractal Design's book.

The NR200P Vision features vented steel construction and striking tempered glass side panels—Cooler Master claims that this headliner has the performance to match its good looks. The Taiwanese hardware manufacturer made some room at their booth for another NR200-series refresh—a NR200P V2 model was presented in black or white options. Past feedback has been taken onboard; the chassis design team has made sure to update the front I/O panel with a much requested USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type C port (offering up to 20 Gb/s transfer speeds). It seems that the NR200P Vision has received the same front-facing connectivity treatment.




Cooler Master notes that the NR200P V2 has been produced with NCORE aesthetics and performance in mind. The compact 18.25 L design can house 240 or 280 mm liquid coolers, and offers comprehensive GPU support (356 mm long, 160 mm high, 3 slots). A customized PCIe 4.0 riser cable is included in the package. Side panels can be swapped without the need for tools—choices appear to be tempered glass, mesh or vented.



Stepping away from all things small, TPU took a moment to have close-up time with Cooler Master's new TD 500 MAX case—this product is for customers that demand an easy build experience, plus MAX-series exclusive features. Cooler Master's patented 2-stage power connector is present, along with pre-routed cabling and a conveniently placed screw storage panel. A custom 360 x 38 mm Atmos radiator is fitted as standard; this cooling solution features a triple array of Mobius 120P ARGB fans. Cooler Master has selected their own GXII Gold 850 W ATX 3.0 PSU as the ideal candidate to be installed on the TD 500 MAX—ready for GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs.



The NCORE 100 MAX has emerged from Cooler Master's second generation push of the MAX line—an all-new body design and custom thermal solution have been devised following the NR200P MAX's favorable reception. The even smaller NCORE 100 MAX sports 212 mm x 155 mm dimensions, yet its design has been optimized for high-performance systems. A transforming internal mechanism is advertised as being able to accommodate GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards.



Cooler Master's NCORE 100 MAX demo units were not filled with hardware at CES 2024, so TPU did not witness the advertised feature set in operation.

Budget-minded system builders have the MasterBox 600 to look forward to—Cooler Master has outfitted this FineMesh-fronted case with three CF120 ARGB fans. Air cooling configurations can fit a maximum of seven 120 mm fans. The MasterBox 600 can house a 360 mm radiator (on the top), while its front panel can take on 420 mm solutions—ensuring high compatibility for liquid-cooled systems.

If only they made a NR200 but vertical. Similar style and perhaps cooling layout, but much taller and much more space saving (in my case). The NCORE isn't exactly my taste either, with the 120mm rad for the CPU (it's thick, but still) and general looks that's too different from the nice simple NR200 style I personally dig quite a lot.

It's a computer case -- it's designed to take a beating. If you use fragile top mesh for the top of the case all your display models will look like that, and also anyone who travels with their SFF.

Brother did you confuse glass with class . Jokes aside to each their own but to be honest ''class'' is not the first thing that comes to mind when looking at the HAF 700 , the design screams over the board gamer aesthetics . You can find way more ''classy'' full tower designs nowadays .
