With the release of AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT set for January 24th, we expect a lot of custom versions from the usual AMD AIB partners, and XFX is coming with two of its own versions, the RX 7600 XT SWFT 210 and the RX 7600 XT QICK 309. In case you missed it, AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT comes with Navi 33 XT GPU and has the same 2048 Stream Processors as the previously available Radeon RX 7600 graphics card. On the other hand, the Radeon RX 7600 XT will come with higher clocks, higher power with 190 W TDP, which now require two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. The memory is also increased to 16 GB GDDR6 but it is still on the same 128-bit memory interface.

The XFX RX 7600 XT SWFT 210 is pretty much the same as the Radeon RX 7600 SWFT 210 SKU, except for additional 8-pin PCIe power connector. It is a budget-oriented SKU, so it sticks to dual-fan, dual-slot cooler design, and won't have a factory-overclock, but should launch at AMD's MSRP of $329. The XFX RX 7600 XT QICK 309 on the other hand uses a more hefty triple-fan, 2.5-slot cooler design, and will come a with a factory-overclock. Unfortunately, XFX is still not listing those clocks, but we expect a decent boost on those GPU clocks.

I am still not sure what’s AMD is going for with this card. The premium over the regular 7600 will absolutely not be worth the pitiful clock bump and 16 gigs of VRAM is completely pointless on this tier of card. Just a baffling release all around.
I guess this might be a play for a “cheap-ish card for AI to capitalize on the craze” kinda deal?

How does just increasing the memory make it an XT variant as well? No extra CU's, no higher clocks, no faster memory, same crap bus width. A 192 bit 12GB card with 4 extra CU's, 300MHz higher clocks, would have been a lot more enticing.

I don't think that's possible as the dies don't have anything disabled on them. They're smaller monolithic dies too.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
I really hope the $330 MSRP doesn't end up being the street price.
The RX 7600 never really sold at $280, and even discounted it's not worth buying over the RX 6650XT which is readily available still at $220-$240.

Because AMD are idiots and didn't call the 8GB variant an XT, even though it's using the full die which the suffix XT has been reserved for, exclusively, since before AMD bought ATI in 2006.

Yeah can't believe this crap taps out N33 as it's clearly a 6500XT update and in no way worthy of being called a 6650XT update.

7700XT is the real 7600XT just as 7800XT is the real 7700XT and 7900XT should have always been called the 7800XT

Sub 200W GPU with dual 8-Pin PCI-e Power(I only hope that means card isnt pulling anything from slot) and Triple fan cooler :kookoo:.

Both AMD and nVidia have screwed their customers this time around with stupid names

I was hoping for a derivative of the RX 7700 XT with a 192 bit bus and 12 GB. That would have been a more optimized chip IMO. The 7600 surely can use the extra vram, but 16 is perhaps too much and affects the cost on an already unnatractive card.
The C mounted nand can always be an issue with AiB designs not cooling the backside chips properly, that means never buying a design that hasn't been tested/reviewed by reputable professionals. This card has the deck stacked against it, looks like

Didn't that cooler design get pretty meh-reviews as well? Definitely not built like their "Gaming-X" series.

RX 7600 XT SWFT 210 is two slot card, which is far too rare these days. Thumbs up for that

Another 16GB vRAM card with lacking GPU power, those vRAM are never going to be relevant, however the alternative would have been 8GB which is not in line with AMDs recent vRAM marketing, they shot themself in the foot

128 bit bus is fine for 1080p tho, which makes 16GB even more pointless

Probably won't beat 6500 XT as the worst GPU release in recent years tho

4GB vRAM, 128 bit and PCIe lane gimping on top. Yeah, 6500 XT really needed that XT nomenclature. XTreme! XTremely Bad.

You are forgetting Radeon RX 6400 or 6X50 series "refreshes".

Also doing it a 2x8 connector card is a joke when 6700s can be had with 1x8 connector.

AMD will go 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 for Radeon 8000 series.

Seriously? OMG... And we could have a passively cooled 1050 Ti - why can't we have passive cards anymore?

I have a Corsair RM550x PSU that is not compatible with their cable (table shows that it's only 650W+ compatible). Does it mean I'm cut-off RDNA4 or the lower tier chips will be still "normal" PCIe powered?
