Do they still have THX certified speakers anymore? Does THX certification still exist or is Dolby Atmos the standard now?

They're riding hard on the success they had with the original Pebbles and revisions. The asking price is ridiculous considering the competing products available.

Razer purchased THX few years ago. I don't know if they certify anything else than their own hardware.

Do you like speakers that emit an audible hiss when they're turned on (even at 0% volume)? Then you'll love the pebble series. Then again maybe they've fixed the issue on this one.

Especially their very own Pebbles that don't involve paying $50 extra for... lights?

I own the Pebble Pro and I was surprised they are so small but deliver a pretty good sound.
All you need is to plug it to any USB port, do you have any competing products in mind ? I didn't find appealing products when I was searching for little speakers when I was traveling.

No hiss to report with the Pebble Pro I got. No distortion neither at maximum volume.

Seems like you are also paying for the redesigned speakers, and additional power. They are bigger and almost twice as powerful as the pebble V3. They don't replace the older Pebble, you can still choose them if you don't need the additional power.
