Rebellion Announces Zombie Army VR

Rebellion, one of the world's most successful independent video game developers and publishers, has today announced a new heart-pounding VR game, Zombie Army VR. Bringing the Zombie Army franchise to VR for the first time, the game will let you experience the fear, thrill and spine-chilling tension of the zombie apocalypse through the immersion of your headset. Coming 2024, Zombie Army VR will be available on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, 3 and Pro, Oculus Rift, and PC headsets via Steam.

Following the story of the Zombie Army series, in Zombie Army VR you return to the field as one of the Deadhunters, an elite squad that is hunting down zombie war criminals. You will fight your way through undead hordes near the bombed-out city of Nuremberg and help Hermann Wolff, the Deadhunter's legendary leader, find his scattered family and fight to free Europe from the zombie apocalypse.



VR brings a new level of immersion to the nail-biting action of the Zombie Army series. Use both hands to aim down the sights of your rifle and line up that perfect shot at range. When things get up close and personal, use each hand independently to dual-wield pistols and submachine guns. You will also need to master reloading drills as the undead masses bear down on you from all sides. Overcoming your nerves and operating under pressure will be crucial if you are to succeed.

To help send the undead scourge back into the abyss, you will have access to an arsenal of authentic World War II weaponry including sniper rifles, submachine guns, pistols, and more. You will also need to earn XP to level up your Deadhunter as you fight zombie-infested 1940s Europe, and use Weapon Upgrade kits to modify the range, accuracy, scope, and ammo capacity of your weapons.

I watch the CEO of Rebellion's youtube channel. Dude is a legit expert on medieval history, truly a shame he focused on the sniper and zombie games. He could have made one hell of a fun medieval game.

It's more like "how dare anyone stop me from shit posting in every VR related article" because that's the right you are attempting to assert here. We get that you and others don't like VR, you make that clear in nearly every VR related article. I have no problem if someone dislikes VR but if the only thing they are commenting every article is "don't care" or "who care's about VR" the total sum of their comment's contribution to the conversation is zero. You are attempting to act as if you are the one persecuted here but it is exactly the opposite.

Think about that logic for a bit, if your boss tells you "Great Job Jimmy" vs "Wow you suck Jimmy" what is the difference? Both are not constructive but the positive comment is harmless while the negative comment is harmful. The bar for having to explain a negative comment is a lot lower, otherwise it's just spiteful / trolling. The reality is positivity is much more permissible than negativity with the exception being that if said positively could be harmful (like in the case of misinformation). Ultimately it's a question of toxicity and positive comments in general are not toxic.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't realize what bad faith means, you are implying that I'm arguing with the intent to deceive. This is absolutely false and you'd do best to stick to the topic and not attempt a character assassination. That's against TPU's rules.

No the latter comment is absolutely harmful. That boss is a terrible person if all they say is "Jimmy, that last run wasn't great, you need to work on that"" and then walks away. That proves my point that the negative comment absolutely needs to be prefaced or followed by additional constructive wording, otherwise it's simply bad spirited if not outright bullying / trolling.

We've already discussed this, only you've changed the wording here of the comments we are comparing and the metric used to measure them. I'm not sure whether the intent is to try to have a gatcha moment or to change the wording to make it more favorable to your arguement but please re-read my last comment as I've already replied on the subject and the answer is still more than sufficient and comes with the correct context.

You are assuming I subscribe to such a mantra, which I do not. This is a strwaman argument plain and simple. Please re-read my prior comments as I did have qualifiers on when it would be acceptable to call out a positive comment.

NGL, one of the more fun games I have played was a medieval zombie game. So sue me.

I would like to see a VR medieval game, that could be interesting.

Or a VR mod for 7D2D.
