iBUYPOWER Debuts New Wave of Valorant Champions Tour Americas-Themed Gaming PCs at Best Buy

Both systems are now available exclusively at select Best Buy stores and on BestBuy.com.

Both systems are housed in the new iBUYPOWER Scale chassis and are part of the company's eighth generation of computer cases. This new case line is optimized for fast assembly, easy cable management, and high compatibility with a wide variety of PC parts. In addition to ample amounts of clearance to support the latest coolers (up to 360 mm) and graphics cards, VCT Americas fans can play in style as the Scale case features the official colors and branding of the VCT Americas.



"Both VCT Americas-branded PCs are fantastic entry points for players to get into the competitive team-oriented action and intensely tactical gameplay that can only be found in VALORANT. Both VCT Americas pre-built systems come with a 1 TB NVMe SSD and 600 W power supply (PSU) included. Players can choose from an entry-level build (SCA5R7601) powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, 16 GB of DDR5 memory, and an AMD Radeon RX 7600 8 GB GPU, or a starter-friendly system (SCA7N46T01) equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB GPU. The entry-level SCA5R7601 build is on display at more than 300 Best Buy stores in the United States.

iBUYPOWER is way too dicey & I think some of the parts they use are of questionable quality. Obviously they're doing something right since they're still in business, but I've heard numerous complaints in the past regarding DoA systems, one or more components failing after a couple of months, warranty issues, etc. If I ever decided to have a system built from such an outfit, I would probably go with Digital Storm or similarly reputable company. Its like anything else, you get what you pay for.

Yea I know, it really suks wallah....

The only other real retail pc shop is MicroCenter, but their locations are so few & far between, they are a minor blip on most people's radar, especially mine, since the closest one is 4 hours away...

I long for the days of Circuit City, Radio Shack, Grillo's, Armondo's (my area only) etc where you could just walk in, buy stuff and go home to play with it....

Which is why PC enthusiasts and gamers should be patronizing mom-and-pop PC stores instead if they don't want online-only retail.

• 120GB Solid State Drive + 1TB Hard Drive
