XFX and Sapphire though, which are both amazing, so we don't need those three idiots in our territory anyway.
Indeed. Who the f.. needs other AIBs with their deliberatly bad/sabotaging quality of their Radeon cards, if there are dedicated partner brands like Sapphire, Powercolor (TUL), and XFX? Frankly, these AIB like Assus, MSI, and Gigabait, eventually serve only one master, and guess which is that. Otherwise, the won't get a single GeForce chip from nVidia. Simple as that.

There is a difference between an inferior quality and a basic product. These cards are the latter, their downside is usually the ASUS tax. Hopefully W1zz will get one for review.

I also disagree with the GPP thing being alive and kicking. Nobody has any evidence to this. If we're going to make accusations as grave as that one, then we better have something to bring up to the negotiation table or we'll just look like sour losers.
Blo...y f... Some people cannot add 2+2. This is obvious. You will never find any evidences for undisclosed NDA stuff, the corporations sign with each other.

Surely, even nVidia's cards are of suspicious quality, with even product line like "Supreme" or "Strix" can have primitive PCB design, with as less components as possible, and which get bent during use from temperature and weight.

However, this seems to be some strange coincidence streak, that AMD products end up of inferior quality, with entire coolings falling apart from PCB, because are repurposed from GeForce solutions. The electronics on PCB are either of even worse design and components. I won't even give a single link, because the internet is flooded with this stiff.

The problem with the GPP - again, I don't know why AMD fans love to bring things from a decade ago whenever they run into any misfortune - is that it was actually illegal and not exactly thought through. It was a clear cut antitrust case, by making premium lines use exclusively Nvidia chipsets at the detriment of the competition was about as good as losing in court. Nvidia's lawyers probably told them the same thing which is why it was retired before it ever went into effect - ASUS was the only company to create the alternate "AREZ" branding, and the only product released with said branding was a ROG Strix RX 580 without any physical changes, it was every bit the exact same card from before and the branding never saw use after this. No other AIB adopted anything that arose from the GPP in the like... infamous 2 or 3 days it was a thing.

You can't be serious. The reason anyone designs a premium segment Radeon GPU at all is because they're exclusive AIB's, otherwise there's no point. Those cards fill the niche of whoever would buy a high-end design based on a Radeon chipset, and those are definitely not us folks who buy overpriced ASUS ROG GPUs. I'm including myself here.

My friend, you are free to believe what you want in a forum. This sounds like the argument that Nvidia does not gimp performance on GPUs.

This maybe ture, but it's still flawed shit mentality. If the AIB intentionally does inferior product, which is significantly worse than rival chipmaker, it won't generate sales and profits. Neither for AIB, nor for GPU vendor. Moreover, this damages the GPU brand's reputation. As this is bad product, with bad reputation, and resellability. This inevitably leads to domination of one brand, while the other will never have the sales numbers, recognition, nor money. So some weak (fanboys inable to avoid their habit), and desperate people (who must get the nVidia CUDA for their job/work tasks), would stick with the "superior" product, tightening the "TIE"/noose even harder.

I think you have read too many conspiracy theories LOL

Asus is fully on the side of AMD on the CPU front (Asus sell a lot of Strix Point Laptop), yet Asus is actively sabotaging their relationship with AMD on the GPU front? weird huh

Anyways let play the blame game when Radeon can't keep up with competition

So, where's the DisplayPort 2.0 support on consumer-grade Radeon RX cards? Why did they gimp them? ;)

Please don't tell me that you think that DP 2.1 means that there is no support for 2.0. Try again.

I'm not AMD fan. I tolerate no BS, from either brand. However, this might have triggered you, by having some sort of preference.

As of antitrust case... the ISP companies in US, "stollen" 400+ billions, that supposed to go into fiber connection all over the US. None was even slightly punished for misuse of the funding. Because the regulators don't give a sh*t, as long as the "lobbying" dollars flow.

The recent example, with AI/GPU companies "meeting" with govenment officials in both US and EU, behind the closed door. Nobody would ever know, what they did agreed upon.

I think you have read too many conspiracy theories LOL

You might be unaware of my opinion about AMD and Radeon. Go figure. It's such coincidence, that most nVidia top GPU owners are so salty and triggered, whenever seeing nVidia in the text.

Asus sells many laptops. But for years Asus, much like other brands, dedicate "premium" solutions for Intel and nVidia only. Even if "premium" means GTX1630. There were a lot of products, which never got any proper dGPU along with top AMD CPU.

After all, Asus sabotages itself. Everything they do they cr*p on their own feet, after shooting them both. I don't get the entre cult made around their products. I had some very good Asus motherboards, but that's all.
But It's an old saga, that lasts from the times, when they have split their MB production, and outsourced their mid and lower end motherboards to the newly created Pegatron, thus became a complete hot garbage. Much like AsRock. Anything was better than these two. And it was back in 2007-2008. I understand, that later AsRock might became a reliable brand, and some things changed significantly.
Also, the premium Asus motherboards were 90% for Intel, or if for AMD, only if they were based on nForce chipset. Only later, Asus switched to AMD chipsets, only due to nVidia dropping their own.

As for VGAs... even then the Asus graphic cards were nowhere near the dedicated partners counterparts. If one would want to get nVidia it was either BFG, XFX, or EVGA were the obvious choice. For AMD it was Sapphire, PowerColor, HIS, or even GeCube, or Club3D.

This examples mean that this sh*tty behavior isn't new. This was always like this. But unfortunately some people cannot fathom the parallels. If what happens now, happened then, thus it never ended.

Man you are deep into conspiracy theories LOL.

I couldn't care less about Asus motherboard, but their video cards are top notch, the Asus TUF is easily the best SKU out there. Every TUF video card (AMD and Nvidia) has been reviewed very favorably by TPU, just check out the reviews.

Some of Asus products or aspects are lacking but hollistically they are doing great. They are very very far from "everything they do they crap on their own feet" LMAO
