Creative Technology today proudly unveils its latest True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds and headphones, the Creative Zen Air SXFI and Creative Zen Hybrid SXFI, designed to transport users into the immersive world of Super X-Fi. You know they've been around since the early 1980's, right?
Calling Creative a patent troll is a bit much, as they have actually developed most of the tech they use in their products once upon a time.
Also, that headphone design has been copied by so many companies by now, that calling out Creative is a bit weak sauce at this point.
And no, I don't own any of their products or shares in the company, but there are other things to call them out for, not this.

My brother in christ they are literally the textbook patent troll, universities literally have official coursework case studies on creative's prolific trolling. Please at least google it.

Doubling down on comments like this really cast doubt on your suitability to be a "news editor". You display absolutely zero journalistic integrity.

Creative is the sole reason why something as basic as 3D positional audio was not in most games until late 2010s - they were bankrupting game devs into the ground with frivolous lawsuits. If you think Creative was using their tech, please list all the games Creative have developed/published. I'll wait.

Also, only Creative was delusional enough to think they can seek injunctions against all smartphone sales worldwide circa 2010. They tried and tried for 3 consecutive years, thinking they could take down Apple, Google, and Samsung for.... shipping devices which use a "folder" structure for navigating files! Wow! Again, tell me all about folders was a innovative concept in 2010, and about Creative's smartphones and OSes.
