GALAX introduced the Classic line of graphics cards based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4070 SUPER. These cards are designed with lateral-blower coolers, and a strictly 2-slot thickness, making them fit for workstations or graphics rendering servers with multiple cards in them. Both cards share a common board design, consisting of an aluminium channel-type heatsink that relies on a lateral blower for ventilation, which always stays on. This card pulls air from either sides of the PCB, and the card's backplate doesn't extend over the region of the PCB with the fan, to maximize clearance for the neighboring card.

The aluminium channel heatsink of this card extends through the entire thickness of the card, and pops out of the cooler shroud, GTX 480-style. The rear I/O bracket has large vents for the cooler to exhaust from. Display connectors include three DisplayPort 1.4, and an HDMI 2.1. Power is drawn from a 16-pin 12VHPWR connector located at the tail end of the card. The RTX 4070 SUPER comes with 7,168 CUDA cores across 56 SM; while the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER has 8,448 CUDA cores across 66 SM. Both cards stick to NVIDIA reference clock speeds for their respective GPUs. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Yeah this thing is clearly built to be stacked in large cases and servers. The only thing classic here is the possible heat and noise levels.
Looks very Deep-learning machine-core.

Processor So old, you don't wanna know... Really!
Looks like it is. But the power connector placement, is still, miles better, that any FE or AIB card has.

I'd be down for getting one or two but every time I see a GPU like this, I can never really find it. Like the single slot blower variant mentioned a few months back for the RTX 4000 series.

I honestly enjoy the minimalist OEM look of these and the power connector placing is also agreeable.

I miss blower cards, sure they were a little noisier, but you could install them in just about any case, ideal for SFF gaming boxes.

Looking at placement of power connector it seems to be designed solely for rack mount applications. Not sure how long before Control freaks at nGreedia kill this SKU.
Nah, they won't because MSI and ZOTAC just released their blower-type RTX 4070 Supers and 4070 Ti Supers with the connector in the back as well.

Loud as heck, but seriously useful in a rackmount cluster.

Or for folks, like myself, who don't want that historically unsafe connector to bend too much. Having it off the end of the card makes for much easier cable management and much less bending.

Nvidia doesn't have a say. (And really with "nGreedia"?? Can we stop with that childish crap already?)

They really do actually... hence why the rtx4090 blower skus got killed off.
You can be a nvidia fanboy all you want... but you clearly have never been an nvidia partner.

No, they don't. AIBs are actually free to use and sell there own designs. They're only required to follow NVidia guidelines IF they use the NVidia designed PCB's and whatnot.

No, that cooler style among AIBs was killed because it was unpopular and didn't sell. NVidia had little involvement.

Wait, I said the following...

Nvidia doesn't have a say.
..and you think I'm a "fanboy"? Did you actually THINK about that before typing it out?

Thank you for confirming that you have never been an nvidia partner and are just a fanboi.
If you get upset because someone calls a company greedy... and get upset when you get called a fanboi... you probably are one.
The 4090 blower designs are only available 2nd hand for double msrp because of the demand...

Seems like these would be good for watercooling as removing the blower/cooler would be a lot simpler.

Or I don't suffer fools who resort to name-calling when they can't win a debate.
