AGON by AOC—one of the world's leading gaming monitor and IT accessories brands - is proud to introduce the AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK, a vanguard monitor that combines esports-level performance with unprecedented affordability. Designed for competitive gamers who demand the best without breaking the bank, the 27" (68.6 cm) Full HD AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK features an astonishing 280 Hz refresh rate, very low input lag, fast response times (up to 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT), Adaptive-Sync for VRR synchronization, and a high-contrast Fast VA panel, setting a new standard for accessible, competitive gaming excellence.

The AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK combines the advantages of many technologies. Thanks to its vivid, contrast-rich Fast VA panel, the colour reproduction is lifelike, enabling gamers to enjoy story-driven, action games with deep black levels and wide gamut coverage (123.3% sRGB area and 92.2% DCI-P3 coverage). For fast-paced, competitive games, its 280 Hz refresh rate and low input lag means the game world is tightly connected to the user. By utilising the MBR (Motion Blur Reduction) setting, the monitor achieves 0.5 ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time), significantly improving motion clarity with backlight strobing. This enables gamers to track opponents more accurately and react to their movements in fast-paced scenes. All in all, the 27G2ZN3/BK will surely be similar to a meta loadout for most gamers: one of the most budget-friendly, high refresh rate gaming monitors to excel at any game one can throw at it.

Every millisecond matters
The AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK's 280 Hz refresh rate delivers impressive fluidity and responsiveness. This lightning-fast refresh rate is essential for fast-paced games like first-person shooters, racing titles, and fighting games, where split-second reactions can mean the difference between victory and defeat. The higher the refresh rate is, the lower the input lag becomes. The monitor's low input lag ensures that every command is executed instantly, providing a seamless connection between the player's actions and the on-screen result.

High-contrast, responsive Fast VA panel for immersive visuals
The AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK features a 27" Fast VA panel with Full HD resolution, delivering vivid colours and deep blacks for an immersive gaming experience. The Fast VA panel technology offers an exceptional native contrast ratio (4000:1), ensuring that every detail stands out, from the darkest shadows to the brightest highlights. With a brightness of 300 nits and HDR10 compliance, this monitor brings games to life with stunning clarity and depth.

Seamless compatibility and ergonomic design
AGON by AOC understands that gamers use a variety of platforms, which is why the AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK is designed to seamlessly integrate with both PC and console gaming. With support for a 120 Hz refresh rate at 1080p resolution on consoles, gamers can enjoy fluid and responsive gameplay across all their favourite devices. The monitor features 2x HDMI 2.0 ports and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, providing ample connectivity options.

To ensure comfort during long gaming sessions, the 27G2ZN3/BK comes with a 130 mm height-adjustable stand with tilt, swivel and pivot functionality. Gamers can easily adjust the monitor to their preferred viewing angle, reducing neck and eye strain for extended gaming comfort. Flicker-Free technology and LowBlue mode further enhance usability when gaming during the nighttime. Thanks to dedicated gaming features in the monitor's OSD, users can fine-tune colours and saturation, highlights and shadows (Shadow Control), a crosshair overlay (Dial Point), or frames per second counter (Frame Counter). The OSD is also accessible using the lightweight and capable AOC G-Menu software.

Pricing and availability
The AOC GAMING 27G2ZN3/BK will come with a 3-year-warranty and is already available, at a budget-friendly RRP of £189.99.

From the design standpoint, all "gaming" displays look quite similar, occasionally virtually the same. Wish there were Mad Max themed or otherwise uncommon variants. Heck, even Hello Kitty is tenfold better than this ho outfit.

Eh, not really, they have been using this color scheme since 2020, probably even earlier than that actually. It's about time they get creative again though haha
