We don't believe we're mistaken in saying that the Thermaltake booth at this year's Computex was among the largest and most crowded, both in terms of products and visitors. Among the products that left a strong impression, we'd like to highlight The Tower 600, 250 Mini, TR-100 Mini-ITX case series, and the extensive range of coolers and accessories. It's difficult to determine the most successful Thermaltake product from Computex 2024, but surely each of us can find at least one that resonates with our preferences.
We conclude our visit to Thermaltake's Computex booth by presenting other novelties from the Thermaltake stand, cases, AIO coolers and air coolers, DDR5 memories and various accessories.
The Tower 600 Mid Tower Chassis offers a balance between next-gen hardware and maximum cooling support. In addition to standard motherboards, it also supports ATX hidden-connector motherboards. It comes pre-installed with two 140 mm CT140 Fans and can overall accommodate up to 12 120 mm fans and up to a 420 mm AIO cooler. It is available in Black, Snow, Matcha Green, and Hydrangea Blue models.
Thermaltake The Tower 250, an evolution of the 200 series, is an ITX mini chassis that comes in Black and Snow and is compatible with an ITX motherboard and SFX power supply. Even with its compact sizes the case features two pre-installed 120 mm CT120 Fans, and it can support up a 360 mm radiator and eight 120 mm fans.
Thermaltake's TR100 Mini-ITX case is designed for small form factor enthusiasts. With a sub-15-liter capacity and a traditional sandwich-style layout, it packs a punch by supporting up to a 280 mm AIO liquid cooler, SFX or SFX-L power supplies, and GPUs up to 360 mm in length. The panels are tool-less panels with built-in magnets while and an optional LCD screen kit adds a personal touch. What sets the TR100 apart is Thermaltake's innovative luggage accessory, transforming this desktop into a travel companion.
We got also two mid-tower cases, the CTE E550 TG and Cerex MX. The first is a dual-chamber update to the existing CTE series, featuring three tempered glass panels and the latest hidden-connector motherboards. The CTE E550 TG includes three different ways to mount a GPU: Floating GPU, placing the GPU in the middle of the chassis using the enclosed floating GPU bracket and the separately sold PCI-e 4.0 riser cable; Up Right, hanging the GPU vertically; and Up Right Forward, placing it upright with the graphics card facing forward to the side panel on the rotational PCI-e slots. For cooling, it can accommodate up to six 140 mm fans plus two 120 mm fans, and up to a 420 mm radiator.
The Ceres 350 MX is available in a myriad of colors, Black, Snow, Matcha Green, Hydrangea Blue, Racing Green, Bumblebee, and Bubble Pink, also featuring a 2.1" LCD circle screen. It offers two interchangeable front panels: a tempered glass panel and a perforated metal mesh. In addition to the pre-installed two CT140 ARGB Sync and one CT140 Sync fans, the case can accommodate up to five 140 mm fans or seven 120 mm fans.
Other cooling products on display are the MAGAir 600 Ultra air cooler series, available in black and white, that feature a snap-on screen on top. The new MAGFloe 360 Ultra is also on display with a huge LCD screen next to some Toughfan EX 12/14 Pro Swappable Edition fans. The lineup was completed by the already launched ASTRIA series air coolers and the MS-1 M.2 2280 SSD Cooler series.
Thermaltake also showcases Toughram D5 and XG RGB D5 DDR5 memory kits with up to 48 GB capacity and speeds up to 7200MT/s.Then we got to see Thermaltake's beloved power supply tester Dr. Power III, and last but not least, the TT Sync V2 controller.
