Cant wait until mini-pcs with the newest Zen5 chips and the 16CU 890M iGPU are available....I think those extra CUs will finally push iGPUs/APUs over the finish line as a viable option for a gamer.

Meh, a total energy consumption below 65W at peak and no USB-C PD for it? Instead again this stupid 19V DC input... Come on Minisforum you can do better (see EM780).

EM780 uses a 28W TDP 'U' series processor and a 65W PSU, while the 8945HS CPU will likely use 65W or more (if it's like the 7840HS in the UM780 XTX) on it's own. These are different class machines, wait for a machine with an 8945U to get USB-C PD.

They have their EU online stores, and they are on every Amazon. It is no problem to buy their products, but some series are limited.

And really! :) I guess I haven't followed them enough recently.

I found one on Amazon with a 7840HS and 780M iGPU, with the product images full of Intel marketing. Amazon needs to pay a bit more attention to detail in their postings, it seems.

But the USB-C PowerDelivery standard doesn't end at 65W. The "Standard Power Range (SPR)" of USB-C PD has a maximum power transfer of 100W which would be well enough for such a system. With the "Extended Power Range (EPR)" even 240W could be delivered. So why holding on to the 19V round plug and not go with USB-C which can be used by all small and medium devices?
Even better: If USB-C PD and DP Alt-Mode are realized on the same port at the backside of the system and your monitor supports the same on one of its USB-C ports you can just connect your system via one USB-C cable to the monitor and have power, video and audio (via monitor speakers) at the same time.

Probably simple expense. Adding the higher power management of ~120W to the USB-C ports and a higher power GaN USB-C charger are not worth the higher cost. Save that feature for the lower power 65W models just like last gen.
