In the contemporary digital landscape, Solid State Drives (SSDs) play a pivotal role by providing crucial attributes such as speed, reliability, and efficiency. These attributes facilitate rapid data retrieval, elevate system responsiveness, enable seamless multitasking, and significantly reduce boot times and application launch delays. Among the top contenders in the SSD market, Acer's FA100 M.2 SSD has successfully secured the top place, capturing the discerning consumer's attention with its cutting-edge performance and unwavering reliability. It stands out as the preferred choice for users who demand excellence in their storage solutions.

Acer FA100 NVMe PCIe SSD
The Acer FA100 M.2 SSD is renowned for its exceptional speed and efficiency, boasting read speeds up to 3300 MB/s and write speeds up to 2700 MB/s. It supports ECC error correction technology and the S.M.A.R.T. function, based on 4K LDPC, which enhances error correction capabilities and ensures secure data storage. Additionally, it supports multiple technologies such as modern standby and ultra-low power consumption. Designed to elevate user experience, the Acer FA100 combines high performance with robust durability, making it ideal for gamers, content creators, and professionals alike.

The Acer FA100 M.2 provides ultra-high-speed read and write performance, making it perfect for efficient office work, remote learning, and gaming. It reaffirms its position as the preferred choice among working personnel and students involved in remote learning. Equipped with read speeds up to 3300 MB/s and write speeds up to 2700 MB/s, this SSD facilitates high-speed transfer of large files and significantly reduces system response times, revitalizing even old PCs.

The full-capacity design of the Acer FA100 M.2 SSD offers users more available space, higher performance, and longer life compared to other non-standard SSDs, ensuring reliable performance over time. Additionally, the NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x 4 SSD comes with mainstream SSD data security technology, making it a balanced solution between security, high speed, and reliability.

One of the standout features of the Acer FA100 SSDs is the inclusion of a free customized version of Acronis True Image cloning software. This software helps in seamless data transfer and backup during natural disasters or emergencies, ensuring the security and privacy of data.

Mr. Rajesh Khurana, Country Manager, Consumer Business, BIWIN, commented on the excellence of the Acer FA100 M.2 SSD and its popularity among working professionals and students. He stated, "Acer FA100 M.2 SSD's production process undergoes multiple checks by engineers at all levels. From design and material selection to production and quality control, Acer FA100 has undergone rigorous tests to ensure excellent stability and reliability. This commitment to quality is reflected in its ultra-high-speed read and write performance, making it an ideal choice for efficient office work, remote learning, and gaming."

Fortune Marketing Private Limited, the National Distributor of BIWIN in India, ensures the wide availability and professional support for the FA100 M.2 SSD for Indian consumers. Available in various capacities ranging from 128 GB to 2 TB, the Acer M.2 SSD features a high-performance controller and high-quality 3D TLC NAND. These SSDs come in both 2.5-inch and M.2 form factors, making them perfect for consumer notebooks, desktop computers, and all-in-one devices.

The Acer FA100 M.2 SSD is compatible with a range of advanced technologies, including modern standby and ultra-low power modes. The 2 TB model boasts a remarkably low maximum power usage of just 3.96 Watts. Once installed, it contributes to the efficient management of your system's power consumption, enhancing battery longevity.

Equipped with Dynamic/Static Wear Levelling, TRIM Command, S.M.A.R.T. Function, and ECC (4K LDPC) Error Correction Code Technology, the Acer FA100 M.2 SSD ensures the highest levels of reliability and durability. Additionally, it includes complimentary backup software from Acronis, further enhancing its appeal to users who prioritize data security and efficient performance.

Manufactured by Biwin, re-branded as Acer to be more appealing in US (western) markets.. circa 2021. The main advantage is the price point, affordable if you're not looking for top-notch performance

April 2021

So why release it in 2021 then announce it in 2024?? Unless 2021 was an Asia only release and 2024 is global?

I always wondered why companies make such bold press releases (market leader etc) that are real cringe to read.
I finally figured it out. It's by design. There are so many press releases that this is the only way to stand out from the sea on press releases.
Especially when the product itself is underwhelming.
