I know it's an industrial version mini-me box, but it seems pretty limited connection-wise, and without real specs & prices, it's pretty hard to see any potential value here, or are they just giving these away for F.R.E.E.... ?

A common use case for things like this are out of band bastion hosts. I use one for my personal stuff in colocation as well.
