Minisforum, a leader in mini PC innovation, today announces the launch of the UH125 Pro, a game-changing mini PC that redefines what's possible in compact computing. The UH125 Pro delivers a powerful blend of performance, efficiency, and versatility, making it the ultimate solution for professionals, gamers, and creators alike.

Unleashing the Power of Intel Core Ultra 5:
UH125 Pro lies the lightning-fast Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, featuring Intel 4 technology and a 3D high-performance hybrid architecture. This cutting-edge processor delivers a remarkable 65 W TDP 4, resulting in a dual improvement in performance and efficiency. With 14 cores (4 Performance Cores + 8 Efficiency Cores + 2 LP Efficiency Cores), 18 threads, 18 MB L3 Cache, and a maximum Turbo Frequency of 4.5 GHz, the UH125 Pro effortlessly handles even the most demanding tasks.

Visual Brilliance and AI Prowess:
Experience stunning visuals with integrated Intel Arc graphics, boasting a 2x iGPU performance jump compared to the previous generation. This translates to lightning-fast 3D rendering, video editing, and live streaming. XeSS Super Sampling technology takes visual fidelity to the next level, ensuring stunning visuals and smooth gameplay.

The UH125 Pro also features Intel AI Boost (NPU) technology, optimizing power consumption for AI applications while extending battery life.

Productivity Redefined:
The UH125 Pro takes productivity to the next level with a dedicated Copilot button, launching Microsoft Copilot with a single click. This AI assistant inspires writing, summarizes articles, and automates tasks, streamlining workflows for increased efficiency.

Supreme Cooling and Expansive Storage:
The UH125 Pro features a compact phase-change heat dissipation design. A large-diameter silent cooling fan and three heat dissipation copper pipes ensure stable performance release, even during intensive gaming or work, all while maintaining a whisper-quiet operation.

The UH125 Pro offers the ultimate in storage solutions, guaranteeing the security and availability of your data. Dual-channel DDR5 SODIMM slots support DDR5 5600Mhz high-frequency memory, enabling faster application startup and expandable up to 96 GB. Two M.2 PCIE 4.0 SSD slots provide ample storage capacity, with a total of up to 6 TB SSD support.

Multi-Screen Mastery and Expansion Options:
The UH125 Pro excels in connectivity with two full-speed USB4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one DP 2.0 port, enabling connection to four 4K screens simultaneously. This multi-screen functionality empowers users to achieve a seamless multi-screen office setup and significantly improve work efficiency.

The independent OCulink port provides high-speed PCIe expansion capabilities between mobile devices and external peripherals, supporting a maximum transfer bandwidth of 64 Gbps. Paired with the MINISFORUM DEG1 OCulink eGPU Dock, the UH125 Pro can easily expand to higher-performance external desktop graphics cards, meeting the demands of high-end gaming, professional creative work, and AI tasks.

The Minisforum Mini PC UH125 Pro is available for pre-order now at minisforum website: for $439 (Barebone) and $639 (32 GB RAM+1 TB SSD).

So that SD slot cannot even do full UHS-I speeds.

I agree with that, and no one mentions it anywhere. I don't get how they have full USB4 speed on all ports (most overpriced desktop motherboards have only half speed) in nearly every mini PC and other things like that, but also, every mini PC has an mSD/SD slot that makes ~30MB/s max, so not even as much as advertised. On EM680/780, it was around 20MB/s with 100MB/s cards. It could be used as a backup if it was full speed, as mSD cards now have up to 2TB capacity. With such a poor performance, this slot is useless for most users.
