The Heilbronn-based audio specialist beyerdynamic presents the third generation of the popular gaming headset: the new MMX 300 PRO. Manufactured in Germany, the latest development features the latest driver technology, a high-quality condenser microphone and improved comfort

Studio DNA for an Immersive Gaming Experience
At the heart of the closed gaming headset is the STELLAR .45 driver, which is also used in beyerdynamic's studio headphones. This ensures the exceptional audio fidelity and spatial sound reproduction of the MMX 300 PRO. Compared to the previous model, the bass and treble profiles have been thoroughly refined. Acoustic in-game events can be pinpointed immediately. The MMX 300 PRO is also impressive when it comes to music playback.

The integrated condenser microphone provides a competitive edge thanks to high speech intelligibility. The new fontanelle recess and the tried-and-tested velour ear pads offer unbeatable comfort for long gaming sessions. As with its predecessors, the new gaming headset is made in Germany using high-quality materials, making it ideal for everyday gaming fun and challenging eSports tournaments.

Powerful on PC and Console
Thanks to the low-impedance STELLAR .45 driver with 48 ohms, it can be easily used on various devices including PC, Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The included Y adaptor enables use on consoles.

Made in Germany - Convincing Quality
Made in Germany, the MMX 300 PRO embodies the highest quality standards. Nothing is left to chance: manufactured by hand, each gaming headset undergoes rigorous quality control before it reaches the customer. The drive system is manufactured within tight tolerances and measured several times during production. Thanks to durable materials including metal and high-quality plastics, all MMX 300 PRO headsets are long-lasting companions for demanding gamers.

"The MMX 300 PRO is a headset that not only offers the best sound, but also meets the demanding needs of today's gamers in terms of comfort and workmanship," explains Andreas Rapp, beyerdynamic Managing Director. "We are convinced that this headset will be a long-lasting companion for ambitious gamers."

Individual Design for Individual Gamers
The innovative online configuration platform MANUFAKTUR enables gamers to customise their MMX 300 PRO as desired, choosing ear pads, decorative rings or an image of their choice to add to the earcups. MANUFAKTUR also offers the option of having the headphone forks personalised with a laser engraving - ideal for gamers and streamers looking to present themselves as a brand.

Availability and Price
The MMX 300 PRO is now available at a recommended retail price of EUR 299.00 (including VAT) in the online shop at www.beyerdynamic.de, on Amazon and in specialist stores. Replacement parts and ear cushions are also available for order.

I own BD DT 900 PRO X and all I can say is wow! Audio quality and comfort are both top notch, plus they're build to last. 239€ pricing is very reasonable for what you get. I'd say 900 can confidentlly compete with headsets double the price I've tried. Highly recommended imho.

I love the oversized, bright green FPS-counter that's displayed over the mini-map.

With kids, pets, a wife, that's basically a no-go, unfortunately. Was hoping they would have an open back model.

Beyerdynamic is great and is my go to choice of headphone makers. All round great sound, relatively neutral and great sounding. Has much better mics than what could be expected. But actually, I don't need/want anything more than a simple and elegant light grey MMX 150. AND I GUESS THEY DISCONTINUED IT?!?!?!

Every new headphone they release has some quirk I don't need/want like wireless Bluetooth or whatnot just to justify a price bump and I'm not buying it, both literally and metaphorically.

I'll be just finding myself another and then a 3rd and then a 4th and 5th replacement MMX 150 by researching stores around the world and shipping them to myself. I rather pay extra for shipping MMX150 from the other side of the world than just accept paying extra for a MMX 300 or MMX 9999 or whatever with features I couldn't care less about.

Beyerdynamic I love your headphones but please just keep producing the great price/performance MMX 150 headphones forever. Don't discontinue it!

IDK much for the Beyerdynamic sound. I actually have my DT770s in their box in the closet. My closed back headset is the Audeze LCD2 closed. Honestly, I prefer open back. I use Sennheiser HD58X and Focal Elex.

The DT770s in different impedances sound different. Which one do you have?

I think 80ohm? It was the middle impedance one. I don't care for the fit either.

What I said is I don't care for the company's house sound. Audeze, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, etc all have their own sound. I said I don't care for Beyerdynamic's sound. That is a fact and statement.
I don't know why people have a problem with me not liking this company's house sound.
