ASRock, the global leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, mini PCs, and gaming monitors, today launched the second wave of its 180 Hz gaming monitor series, signaling that 180 Hz refresh rate is just the beginning, not the end. The new models, PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B, feature 27-inch screens with FHD resolution, combining the power of 180 Hz high refresh rate with Fast IPS panel technology to create an unparalleled visual feast of extreme smoothness and vibrant colors.

Setting the Pace: Phantom Gaming's 180 Hz Refresh Rate Revolution
Phantom Gaming, ASRock's gaming brand, continues its pursuit of excellence, setting a new speed benchmark with the 180 Hz gaming monitor series. Compared to typical 144 Hz gaming monitors, models PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B are 25% faster, and their speed is 1.5 times that of entry-level 120 Hz gaming monitors, allowing Phantom gamers to fully indulge in a clear and smooth visual experience!

180 Hz refresh rate monitors not only enable gamers to excel in high-speed games such as racing and shooting, but also provide creators with seamless screen performance, unlocking unlimited creative potential.

Immersive Visual Performance
The PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B, equipped with FHD resolution screens and Fast IPS panel technology, deliver vivid visuals with a wide 178-degree viewing angle. With VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified display technology, they showcase true-to-life colors visible to the human eye, effortlessly presenting a vibrant, crisp, and lifelike world, allowing users to feel fully immersed.

It would be more gaming oriented if it didn't said "Gaming" on it. One day... I believe these companies will realize that, putting goofy brands like "Phantom Gaming" doesn't really work. There is a disconnect between gamers and people who decide on these things, whom are not gamers at all.

Plus, I feel like I'm far from the only one that prefers 'industrial/utilitarian' minimalism in branding and styling.
(makes it easier to 'blend in' or a good baseline for one's personal style, IMO)

As far as 1080P only? Meh. I *was* a member of that 'club' 'till recently.
Esp. for high-skill 'twitch' games, many would prefer 'more up-to-date visual data' vs. 'more visual detail'. So, 180-240+hz 1080P displays w/ mediocre color 'work', for those folks.
NtM, if one is pursuing 'smoothness' above all else, an RX 7900 can tackle all but the most disadvantaged titles MTFO, @ 1080P (60+FPS 1%min)

27'' FHD!? Is that supposed to impress anyone?
I mean, it's not even that fast to warrant such pathetically low res. If it were 360Hz sure.

27" QHD is too low a res for my liking. Can't wait to get to 140dpi+ but these trash are 81dpi. 24" FHD sucks enough.
