So the other day I came across a TB4 dock from iVankey that has dual TB4 chips (can only be used with Macs with apple silicon, no intel) and 2x upstream connections (64Gbps/80Gbps) and obviously a ton of ports, but I was wondering whether that would be possible for an eGPU enclosure to double the bandwidth? Or would that introduce too much complexity/latency?

I also heard that Windows 11 is now capable of USB4 2.0 (80Gbps) so I wonder how long until we see devices using this

I'm sure that dock can be used on things other than an apple silicon mac.
