India Targets 2026 for Its First Domestic AI Chip Development

People surely are underestimating India like they did China. In around two decades, India is going to get big economically, like China is now. So I'm not surprised that some companies are already trying big.
Few years ago, Ola ventured in electric two wheeler segment and is already the largest seller of two wheeler electric vehicles in India.

Nobody underestimated China.

They actually overestimated it, as China is now in a demographic decline, i.e. its population is declining.

It's going to be an uphill battle for China from now on. Barring mass immigration, by 2100 their population will both be cut nearly in half *and* have more people outside working age than of working age. It will be the worst population / demo implosion in the world, by far, and its cause was the CCP trying to control birth rates / fertility.

India simply has a huge demographic advantage, with a median age of 29. It remains to be seen what they will do with it.

Dude, ah population decline is a global issue not just China.

Not really, not in most of our lifetimes anyway.

The funny thing is all that talk 10-20 years ago about the 21st century being 'China's Century'. Look at that chart. China is going to implode over the next 40 years.

You're so wrong its ridiculous.

The projected numbers for India are highly optimistic. While the population will definitely not "decrease" at the rate of China but if things don't change too much from now we will be in China's current situation by 2050-60 at the latest.

The only thing ridiculous is your critical thinking skills.

What did I say?

Oh yea, "not in most of our lifetimes".

Check your own references. I have seen all that crap you posted, but unlike you, I actually looked at their data. It shows up in the world chart I posted as well.

Unless you're under 20, you aren't likely to still be alive in 2085.

You clearly are clueless. Population decline cannot be stopped or reversed easily. By the time it actually becomes critical, it's too late dufus. Countries like Japan are deep into decline with no hope. US census also isn't accurate because Biden decided to count illegal immigrants since 2021.

And what's hilarious is this is not something to argue about, its a fact, It's going down almost everywhere. Not in our lifetime, clowns lmao.

Never said any of that. You're just making up straw man arguments for the sake of arguing - but I doubt you even know what that is.

Let me make it as clear as I can.

By the time world population peaks, 95%+ of the people reading this will be dead. It's not a this generation problem. The sun will eventually expand and consume the planet too, but I'm not worrying about either of them.

On the other hand, China's population is *past* peak. That is going to be something this generation gets to watch.

Been saying, Nvidia only has 2-3 years with a captive market left.
Well if this is happening in India nGreedia might have more than that, there might be cows on the road......
