UGREEN Announces Revodok Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station

The Revodok series is a collection of superior models from Ugreen hubs and docking stations. With the name Revodok, we hope to bring higher productivity and the better experience to users.

Revodok Thunderbolt 5 docking station is the latest product of Revodok series that will be shown at the IFA exhibition. Thunderbolt 5 docking station could deliver 80 of bi-directional bandwidth, and with Bandwidth Boost it will provide up to 120 Gbps for the best display experience, offering higher data transfer rates and more powerful video output capabilities compared to Thunderbolt 4 docks.

Sounds like a nice bit of kit.

BTW, I always thought that UGreen should have provided entry level Thunderbolt 4 Docks with their DXP8800 Plus and DXP6800 Pro NAS models when they were in the kickstarter phase.

It's overkill for most everyone outside of those needing extensive connectivity, but the low refresh rates will limit it's usefulness in pro environments

Yea that would have been nice, but would have added to the complexity as well as the cost....

If it can support 8K60 why can't it support 4K240, as they have the same bandwidth requirements? Limiting it to 4K60 is a sad joke in 2024 with so many 120Hz+ 4K monitors around.
