Lian Li today introduced the Lancool 207 ATX mid-tower case. The case has dimensions resembling that of a typical Micro-ATX tower, but with an internal layout having room for an ATX set-up. To achieve this, Lian Li's designers thinned the bottom half of the case, except a portion toward the front of the case, which has a standard-size PSU bay. An AC receptacle and internal 3-core cable moves power to the PSU. The motherboard tray is slightly recessed compared to a portion toward the front of the case, which serves as crawl-space for cabling, which limits the ATX motherboard width to 244 mm. There are cutouts positioned for side-facing I/O on the motherboard, such as SATA ports. The case measures 450 mm x 455.6 mm x 219 mm, or about 45.5 l in volume, which can be considered compact for ATX cases.
Despite its size, the Lancool 207 offers reasonable amounts of clearance—you can use graphics cards up to 37.5 cm in length. A radiator with 25 mm-thick fans should typically eat 55 mm into this, which still leaves you with around 32 cm. Fan mounts include two 140 mm front intakes, which are factory-fitted with a pair of RGB-illuminated 109 CFM 140 mm fans; either three 120 mm or two 140 mm top exhausts, two 120 mm mounts above the partition separating the top- and bottom compartments, which are factory-fitted with 71 CFM fans; and a 120 mm rear exhaust. The Lian Li Lancool 207 comes in white and black variants. The company didn't reveal pricing.
