Lian Li today introduced the Lancool 207 ATX mid-tower case. The case has dimensions resembling that of a typical Micro-ATX tower, but with an internal layout having room for an ATX set-up. To achieve this, Lian Li's designers thinned the bottom half of the case, except a portion toward the front of the case, which has a standard-size PSU bay. An AC receptacle and internal 3-core cable moves power to the PSU. The motherboard tray is slightly recessed compared to a portion toward the front of the case, which serves as crawl-space for cabling, which limits the ATX motherboard width to 244 mm. There are cutouts positioned for side-facing I/O on the motherboard, such as SATA ports. The case measures 450 mm x 455.6 mm x 219 mm, or about 45.5 l in volume, which can be considered compact for ATX cases.

Despite its size, the Lancool 207 offers reasonable amounts of clearance—you can use graphics cards up to 37.5 cm in length. A radiator with 25 mm-thick fans should typically eat 55 mm into this, which still leaves you with around 32 cm. Fan mounts include two 140 mm front intakes, which are factory-fitted with a pair of RGB-illuminated 109 CFM 140 mm fans; either three 120 mm or two 140 mm top exhausts, two 120 mm mounts above the partition separating the top- and bottom compartments, which are factory-fitted with 71 CFM fans; and a 120 mm rear exhaust. The Lian Li Lancool 207 comes in white and black variants.

Update Oct 4th: The black variant is priced at USD $79.99, and the white variant at $84.99. TechPowerUp's review is now live.

Excellent case, a blend of a few of the other cases they offer.
A fan of the brand!

Yeah, target price mentioned at Computex was $80. We will see how close they get soon enough, but anything under $100 with 4 included fans will make me happy.

Looks really well thought out, lots of things moved around:
* Front fans are really unrestricted, 140mm and ARGB
* Back grill is very open, basically the whole case has been optimized to reduce air restrictions
* Motherboard shifted down to give more clearance up top for radiators and the like
* PSU moved to front, side panel of the PSU shroud is mesh, and there is are even holes is the back panel to give the 2x 120mm fans access to fresh air, probably improving GPU thermals a lot
* Very compact
* Targetting $80 so shouldn't be much different than that

I'm not sure how much more special you want it to be, it is objectively pretty special and better than OK. If you are looking for a case that is even remotely similar to this one, this one should be in the top of your list to check out.

I have a Lian-Li 206, this is an incremental improvement on that case.

It's pretty unrealistic to expect some sort of revolutionary design if you want the retail price to land below $100.

Looks good, the two extra fans on the internal shroud are a nice addition if you are counting pennies. That said, I'm not sure if Lian Li case fans are something I'd want bundled in. I replaced mine with quieter Arctic fans; it would have been better if Lian Li offered a cheaper version without fans but oh well.

Dawn i wish could love this case but i can't.
The smalls designs flaws spoted in many reviews adds up.

It's still a very good budget case.
