Yeah, that sounds about right. I think they're trying to be optimistic with that statement. While there is never anything wrong with healthy optimism, it needs to be grounded in reality to be effective.
They can't just state the obvious fact that nobody cares about AI, not after the whole industry invested so much money in it. They have to do the corporate talk bullshit to try to mitigate the dumpster fire while they still can.

I think essentially this sums it up quite well:
I remember a sunglasses commercial promoting them as HD years ago after the HDTV boom. Hilarious the buzzwords companies will use to sell their products whether it is relevant or not.

"CPU" is a much more abstract concept than HD to most people but after a few decades, almost everyone has heard of it and made some mental connection between it and "power".
