ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the launch of the Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme, a new ROG Ryujin all-in-one cooler introduced during Gamescom 2024. The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme is specially optimized for the heat zones of Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) via a movable bracket design that effectively reduces CPU heat.

The cooler is also equipped with an Asetek Emma Gen 8 V2 pump for optimal cooling performance, and its embedded pump fan assists in cooling a motherboard's voltage regulator modules (VRMs). Meanwhile, 30 mm daisy-chainable ROG ARGB fans provide high airflow and static pressure with noise optimization, and users can connect lighting and fan control with one cable for easy installation and cable management. The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme also boasts a full-color 3.5-inch display with a 640x480 resolution which can be customized through Armoury Crate to display exclusive ROG wallpaper, real-time system information or personalized content.

Ultimate cooling performance
The exclusive adjustable bracket of the ROG Ryujin III ARGB Extreme allows the cold plate to better fit the CPU for effective heat dissipation, helping users achieve stable peak performance. The embedded pump fan also assists in cooling the motherboard's VRM area for enhanced overclocking performance. These ROG ARGB fans have been thickened to 30 mm to maximize cooling performance while maintaining maximum case compatibility.

Abundant Personalization
The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme has an upgraded full-color 3.5-inch 640x480 display for a maximized visual experience. It also offers an extensive variety of customization options via Armoury Crate, allowing deep personalization.

Eazy PC DIY
The ROG Ryujin Cooler is equipped with magnetic fans, making installation simpler and more convenient. These customizable ARGB fans snap together with a magnetic connector that links the fans and transmits control signals and power. Easy installation and cable management is ensured by the single cable design.

I love how AIOs are slowly creeping to air tower sizing for their pump there. With a screen on top that looks like a massive CRT that looks like they stole it from a Pip boy. Utterly ridiculous. We really are in the Great Age of devolution it seems, development is past its peak and now just plainly silly, desperate to keep redefining things that don't need redefining.

Good thing Arctic LF III exists. Mere 68€ for 420mm AIO. Smaller sizes that fit more cases are even cheaper than that.
They also have RGB versions that cost between 10-15€ more. The most expensive 420mm white RGB version costs 82€.

That even cheaper than the non-RGB 420mm LF II i bought for 90€ years ago.
I suspect that even if they added the screen they would still come in at under 200€.

Ryujin III comes in at 214€ for 240mm non-RGB version. Yikes.
The 360mm version mentioned in this article cost 456€. That's more than most consumer CPU's it's meant to cool.

The EVA-02 special edition even costs 577€...

Reminds me of the OG Corsair H50 what it comes to the pump height.

You can build an enthusiast-level custom loop with that price.
