Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the exclusive launch of the Viper Mini Signature Edition in a new color, White. This new release continues to redefine state-of-the-art gaming technology with a stunning new color and exquisite craftsmanship.

The Viper Mini Signature Edition in White is a pinnacle of gaming elegance and performance, tailored for gamers who seek a lighter design to match their white battlestations. With a growing trend of full white minimalist setups, the Signature Edition was crafted to be the purest masterpiece for our most hardcore fans.

Engineering Excellence in a Feather-light Package
The Signature Edition continues to be a marvel in gaming technology, distinguished by its pristine white finish—a color traditionally challenging to perfect in gaming hardware. Each unit undergoes a rigorous curing process to ensure it remains in pristine condition, thus preserving its flawless appearance for the years to come. Weighing less than 49 grams, with an additional protective coating to preserve its flawless appearance, this mouse exemplifies Razer's dedication to advancing the frontiers of peripheral technology.

"We have elevated the standards of precision engineering in gaming peripherals with the Viper Mini Signature Edition in White," said Barrie Ooi, Head of Razer's PC Gaming Division. "Pushing the limits of what's possible in design and weight, this limited-edition mouse, at just under 49 grams, sets a new benchmark for performance and aesthetics."

Masterful Design, Impeccable Build
The mouse features a magnesium alloy exoskeleton, chosen for its superior strength-to-weight ratio. Each mouse undergoes a complex manufacturing process, including CNC machining to ensure it remains ultra-lightweight without compromising on durability.

Charlie Bolton, Head of Industrial Design at Razer, stated, "The challenge was not only in crafting a lighter mouse but doing so in a color that traditionally adds weight to the mouse. Our solution to preserving both the mouse's aesthetic and functional integrity was to improve on the manufacturing process to improve the build while optimizing the finishing to achieve perfection."

Unrivaled Performance Features
This exclusive edition boasts the Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor and Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3, integrated with Razer HyperPolling Technology to deliver a true 8000 Hz wireless polling rate. These features ensure that the Viper Mini Signature Edition provides seamless, high-speed performance across all gaming genres.

The Viper Mini Signature Edition in White comes with a paired white Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, a set of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Mouse Feet, a white micro-fiber cleaning cloth, 2 sets of Razer Mouse Grip Tape, 2 alcohol prep pads, and an exclusive 3-year warranty for unparalleled assurance and peace of mind.

Exclusive and Limited Release
This limited-edition piece is designed for those who appreciate the finer aspects of gaming culture and wanted a minimalistic masterpiece to match their full white battlestation. It's not merely a gaming mouse, but a statement of style and sophistication that stands apart in any gaming or creative setup.

As a testament to its uniqueness and its complex manufacturing process, the Viper Mini Signature Edition in White will be available in limited quantities, with only 13,337 units being made. The first drop will be at 8AM PT, 21 October 2024.

…honestly, fuck off with this, Razer. You’ve been asked repeatedly to just make a wireless version of the OG Viper Mini and you keep taking the piss with the SE. And no, the goddamn Cobra does NOT count. Why the hell is this so hard for you?! Darmoshark, of all companies, nowadays have, like, 4 sizes for their M3.

So they target people whose muscles don't exist but their wallets do. My rodent is ~150 g and it's at least two times too light to my liking. And I haven't even started my strength circuits, I only hit the gym for stamina gain and weight loss!

But still, $300? For a... mouse? Unless it wins me tournaments without me even having a clue what this game is about, don't see how it's worth it. $20 mice do 99+ % tasks just fine.

Who's buying this extremely UN-extrodinary mouse for such an extraordinary price? This needs to not only have hot-swappable switches, it needs to come with those spare switches to ensure it lasts FOREVER with that price.

Well I don't understand just who is the target demographic for a $300 mouse, especially one from razer.
I guess they're trying to compete with Finalmouse. The only ones I know who would either pay (or sponsor) for mice like these are hardcore sweats, influencers and eSports pros:

And collectors, of course. :rockout:

There's still plenty of plastic to remove from the buttons.
Also there's no need for a large plastic base either, so they can remove most of that too.

Clearly, the readers of this news article are not the target demographics of this mouse. :D
No because the other target demographics rather invest their money and retire early.
