Thermal Grizzly Announces New Products for Intel LGA 1851 Socket and Core Ultra 200 Arrow Lake CPUs

Thermal Grizzly, a high-performance cooling solutions provider, unveils a new line-up of products specifically designed for Intel's LGA 1851 socket, the latest Intel Core Ultra 200 Arrow Lake CPUs. The product line consists of four new solutions tailored to the improvements of 15th generation CPUs, including a CPU contact frame, a direct die water block, a CPU delidding tool and a delidding heater. Today, three of these products are now officially launched and available for purchase on the Thermal Grizzly web shop and through its Partner Reseller Network.

Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1
In addition to a new internal contour for the contact surface, the new Intel 1851 CPU Contact Frame V1 considers the position of the socket on the motherboard. The thermal hotspot has shifted with the Arrow Lake CPUs and is now located further north compared to its predecessor. With a slight shift of Socket 1851 compared to LGA1700, Intel has attempted to counter the hotspot shift. Thus, CPU coolers designed for Socket 1700 can also be used with Socket 1851. The shift in the socket makes previous contact frames for Socket 1700 incompatible with 1851, which is why Thermal Grizzly now offers the Intel 1851 Contact Frame V1.



A precision-engineered contact frame, designed to enhance thermal performance and stability when paired with processors using the LGA 1851 socket. During early testing at a pre-launch event organized by ASUS at the end of September in Taipei, Taiwan, the renowned Overclocked Gaming Systems (OGS) team from Greece achieved an impressive 33-50 MHz performance boost using this frame with liquid nitrogen (LN2).

Intel 1851 Mycro Direct-Die PRO RGB V1
The Intel 1851 Mycro Direct-Die PRO RGB V1 microfin water cooler for the new Intel CPUs will be available in the familiar black aluminium cover on Plexiglass design as well as in a white and silver version. The black version of the cooler will be available soon, while the white/silver special edition will be available in approximately six weeks. A micro-fin water cooler built for direct-die cooling on Intel's new CPUs. It will come in a sleek black aluminium and acrylic design, with a special white/silver edition launching shortly after.

Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate V1
The Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate V1 will also be available at the launch of the Arrow Lake CPUs, allowing PC enthusiasts to delid their CPUs right away. A separate blog post will be published soon about delidding Intel Arrow Lake CPUs and the associated risks.

Specifically built for delidding Intel Core Ultra 200 processors, this tool allows users to safely and efficiently remove the processor's heat spreader. Given the higher risk of delidding these new CPUs in comparison to previous generation, it's strongly recommended to heat the processor to around 165°C during the process, ensuring optimal safety and effectiveness. A new delidding heater is being developed to help users with this issue.

Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate Heater V1
Since delidding Core Ultra 200 CPUs is riskier than with previous Intel CPUs, it is highly recommended to heat the processor to around 165°C when delidding. This liquefies the indium solder and minimizes mechanical stress on the chip. The Intel 1851 Delid-Die-Mate Heater V1 was specifically developed for this purpose and will be available in about 2-3 weeks.

With this new suite of products, Thermal Grizzly continues to push the boundaries of PC cooling and overclocking performance, offering advanced solutions for Intel's latest processor technologies.

The Thermal Grizzly products for Intel's LGA1851 socket are made in Germany, and are available for order through the Thermal Grizzly Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. In the table below, you can see the manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) including VAT.

I'd want one for a new system but not with RGB! I will pay extra for no RGB.

EDIT- saw they have it. But when browsing only one model is shown on the page without it. You have to delve into it to see the chance to remove the RGB.

I think the TPU mentioned some boards will have an enhanced latch system, which indicates there is recognition of it, and in my opinion with these longer CPUs, I would still buy an aftermarket bracket, but thats just me.
