Man, LG is king of high end display panels with their OLED stuff so I'm not sure relevance is a concern for them...
 
If anything, projectors are definitely not very cost effective. Have you checked recently how much a native 4K projector for 100 inch screen costs nowadays?
Yeah, I'm better off with a TV of that size than the projector.
You might be confusing price and cost.
 
Now streamers can put their sponsors on their stretchy screen shirts, and those that use a bit of cleavage to help sell their channel can now just flaunt their advertisers on the stretched out screen across their bust. E-sports teams would now have their sponsors' logos now scrolling along their shirt backs, alternating between the logos, their IGN, and their real last name. And eventually, boring white shirts will be replaced with these, and a variety of stock design/colorways to change their boring white to the style of the hour.
