V-color Technology Inc. has announced a new world record in DDR5 memory speed, reaching 12264 MT/s with its DDR5 XFinity memory module. This accomplishment was led by overclocker AKM, using the ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard and Intel Core Ultra 9 Arrow Lake processor. The record, confirmed on HWBOT, solidifies v-color's position as a leader in high-performance memory technology. The ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard is designed specifically for overclocking, with advanced power phases, reinforced DIMM slots, and a BIOS optimized for extreme performance. Its robust design allowed AKM to push the DDR5 XFinity memory to record-breaking speeds, making it a top choice for overclocking enthusiasts.

The CPU-Z Validation can be accessed here, and the HWBOT page here.

Intel CPU Processor
The Intel Core Ultra 9 Arrow Lake CPU features a powerful memory controller that supports extreme DDR5 speeds. This advanced processor enabled AKM to reach over 12,000 MT/s, showcasing Intel's commitment to high-performance computing.

A New Benchmark in Memory Performance
The synergy of v-color's DDR5 XFinity memory, ASRock's Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard, and Intel's Core Ultra 9 Arrow Lake processor highlights the future of high-performance computing. Together, these components set a new benchmark, proving that cutting-edge technology can push memory speeds to unprecedented levels.

Benchmark Scores They're pretty good, nothing crazy.
Kind of cool except it's probably across a gear 4 divider into the 285K's slow fabric - probably still sitting above 70ns latency

does anyone know if these need extra cooling for this sorta stuff or is that still a thing of the past?

The cpu is under LN2, so I believe it's viable to use active cooling on ram at higher clock speeds, heatspreaders are just that...

Looks like a gentleman's agreement for a timed top score, like a lot of these. It's just been replaced by saltycroissant (also using V-Color and probably the exact same Z890 OCF) at 12,350MT. :)

So those RAMs are actually 12264 Mhz ?

So why is the CPU only with 2 Cores and 2673Mhz only?

Its at 6,132 MHz (12,264 MT/s) and the CPU is in low power mode because it just needs to be cold enough so the IMC voltage that normally might only do 9K can reach 12K+. Cold = less volt leakaged. Last WR was only 400Mhz on the CPU, this one is pretty close to that as well.
