Welcome to the last week of the month of November, which is a weak week for new game releases. The biggest release this week combines steampunk with magic in a fantasy world. This is followed by some sin slaying, some neon coloured blood, a Japanese inspired shop, a scary enigma and finally some parkour in an unexpected environment.

Take a stand in the eternal conflict between Arcane Magic and Steampunk Revolution and tip the uneasy balance between sorcery, elves, dwarves and mysterious monsters on one side and steampunk gadgets, zeppelins, and tesla guns on the other in this single-player, party-based, story-rich RPG. Enigma of Fear / Thursday 28 November

Only Up: Lizards must fall / Friday 29 November
Only Up: Lizards must fall is an incredible multiplayer parkour game where precision and speed are important. Jump and climb over various obstacles. Defeat the cursed Lizards. The slightest mistake can result in falling to the starting location and your Rus brothers will stop respecting you. Steam link

New Arc Line at least sounds interesting, because Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura sounds interesting and is interesting, but I've actually never played much of it because of the Infinity Engine. Will keep an eye on it.

Only Up has this tidbit on the Steam Page:
"Interesting mechanics: you can push your brother Russ to keep him relaxed! Also, every time you push a Lizard into an abyss, you are spiritually attached to a point and can move there at any time!"
I have no idea what that means and I'm intrigued.

Midori no Kaori ... looks interesting actually. I'm not a fan of the "There's No Win or Loose Condition, unLEASH YOUR CREATIVITYITY!" style of games but maybe it's something there? Will keep an eye on it.

Great picks -- I'm spoilt for choice this week!

New Arc Line looks extremely promising, how could it go wrong with throwbacks to Arcanum and Bioshock? It's a pity it won't get a full release until late 2025 at the earliest, though.

Absolutely loving Neon Blood's original aesthetics of 2D pixel sprites, 3D backgrounds and cartoon cutscenes. The combination of RPG, adventure and turn-based combat may be the perfect mix. And it should run well on older hardware.

Enigma of Fear also features a detective player character in a pixel art/3D adventure with combat. Plus mystery and the paranormal, with minimal requirements to play it. Me likey!

Most likely, unless there's a bigger game being released on the same day, which seems unlikely.

i third what others have said before, new arc line sounds interesting and the visuals look appealing, not a fan of single player(give me coop) and i won't play in until a year after it reaches final release, so it's not a game i'll touch until 2026 at the earliest: comes in EA on 26/11, make it at least a year before it comes out full, and an extra year of patching on top of that (might be 6months if the release looks good/final).

But that's pretty much a requirement for any game released in the last 10+ years
