Creative is a weird brand nowadays in that they can’t decide if they want to be premium or not, their products are all over the place. Cheap, expensive, cheap, expensive.

I like that these angle up without needing a stand/wedge. Which isn't to say I'd buy them, but that's a feature I like in PC speakers.

Agreed, bought two pairs of the things exactly because they're cheap yet sound decent.

I may not have the RGB quality the pebbles have,I will put my A2's against these any day. I just think overall the A2's are a more audiophile quality speaker and more full rounded. JMHO

Likely true, and yet the Audioengines are some of the worst sound-quality/$ around with their puny little 2" drivers and miserable rolloff that drops off a cliff below 110Hz. They're accurate enough within their woofer's realistic limits of 125Hz-2KHz and the silk domes handle the treble pretty well, even if there's a bit of a gap in the crossover. Don't get me wrong, the A2+ are great little speakers, but they're little, which is a real problem, and they're hella expensive, primarily because of all the connectivity which is convenient, but pushes what should really be a $100 set of speakers several price tiers higher than they perform, unless you're explicitly searching for the specific combination of connectivity the A2+ offers and willing to pay for the privilege.

If you want sound quality rather than cosmetics, then it's hard not to argue for a couple of 5" studio monitors from your brand of choice with a basic DSP tune, something you can do for free with RoomEQWizard and any half-decent microphone.

For $280, I would rather get a set of well-known studio monitors, or even their own GigaWorks T40 which are significantly less and still on sale.

Aside from being powered through USB-C PD, there is no notable advantages that makes it worth $280.

Few things it put me off:

1) USB Charger as power like in previous Pebble X some critized that depending on the charger
it will affect the sound quality.
2) Not High resolution audio certified, no support for LDAC but SBC BT Codec.
This alone will justify this speaker is not worth $400.
You can get a Studio monitor with High resolution audio certified.
3) The price obviously

Is no brainer if anyone wants to buy this speaker like others mentioned.
There are better options out there and you won't be bother about using using USB charger.

I got the Creative Pebble Pros for $50 for my work speakers. They sound actually sound pretty damn decent as long as you have the plugged into the 65W power source. These on the other hand, I would love to hear them to actually hear the difference (if any). However, like everyone else said here, I would never add them to a serious setup without a subwoofer. These have a 55Hz cutoff...yeah no thx.

I got mine for 12 off amazon lol they are ok speakers but sound like they are partly in a barn.
