Think it was 10 years ago ECS talked big about re-entering European markets, specifically Sweden. . . well that never panned out, so yawn ECS.

What's worse, is they seem to disappear from markets they were already in. Even 5-6 years ago Elitegroup used to have at least several official distributors here. Now you can't find any of their stuff even if you want to. I've seen some of their more or less recent boards sold under different names(like Medion), so maybe instead of selling directly they've decided to focus on OEM stuff...

Interesting, MSI used to make gear for Medion, which used to be sold in Aldi I believe.

I want Abit and DFI Lanparty to make comebacks too.
Sadly not going to happen. DFI are still around and I believe even som of the old people are still there, but Abit was sold and had a short reboot, but is long gone now.

ECS GANK DRONE Z87H3-A3X Motherboard Review - PC Perspective

To be honest I miss old Pentium 4 days, where their board is purple colored with multicolored DIMM, AGP/PCI slots than bland black boards of nowadays. Since 99% of cases of today have windows, why not make multicolored board a thing again?

Thier X58 Black series wasn't so bad too

I would have expected them to announce a mini-PC with Snapdragon X Plus/Elite, just like Geekom recently did with their QS1 Pro.

Other than that I only know them from their K7S5A boards, which apparently broke down easily according to a relative after giving him two of those boards.

But I'm willing to buy one of their Snapdragon systems, if correctly priced.

Up until the Core 2 days, ECS was The Budget board to pick, over here. Good enough to make everything work for 2~4 years, doesn't break the bank, OC won't be a thing. Then, they just disappear. It was them and Biostar.
"leet" hasn't been a thing for at least 20 years. They should come up with a better product name.
Which flavor of "Skibidi", "Anti Spiral", "Skill Issue", "Hawk Tuah", "Rizz", "Sigma", "Musk", "Chill Dude" (collab, since now it's copyrighted), or "GYATT" would you prefer to comply with Internet brainrot 4.0?

There's only hope for DFI, since they are still around(only focused on embedded and industrial stuff). Abit is dead-dead.
