ZOTAC unveiled its full lineup of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards at CES 2025, including the full the new AMP Extreme INFINITY models and the whole new SOLID series of graphics cards. According to ZOTAC, the SOLID series uses cooling technologies derived from the flagship model and represents a high-performance graphics card in a minimalist package. As far as we understood, the SOLID series is meant to be the working horse of Zotac graphics card lineup, offering both performance and durability, while the AMP Extreme INFINITY will be the flagship series with all the bells and whistles. Currently, ZOTAC will offer GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti will be offered in the AMP Extreme INFINITY series and SOLID models, while the 5070 products will be offered only in SOLID series.

ZOTAC also turned a new page when it comes to design, breaking away from the traditional design of the graphics card by going for elegance and simplicity, making them more suitable for current trend of "sleek, designer-like premium PCs". With the AMP Extreme INFINITY series, ZOTAC is implementing a die-cast metal backplate with flow-through air channels, Infinity Mirror, and SPECTRA 2.0 ARGB lighting. Both the AMP Extreme INFINITY and the SOLID series will now have rounded corners, as these both look better and take up less space, which could be important to system integrators.

ZOTAC is also introducing several new features to the RTX 50 series lineup, including the Dual BIOS feature which will now have a physical button, rather than just FireStorm software control, as well as the new 12WHPWR Safety Light, which shows you if there is any problem with the connector, or it is not properly plugged-in. Zotac is also going to use 5u gold-plated connection pins to provide better corrosion-resistance and better electrical conductivity. The rest of the updates include quieter acoustic profile with Automatic Fan Stop and Active Fan Control 2.0 features, new BladeLink Fans with interconnected blades, Tri-Zone SPECTRA 2.0 ARGB lighting, SPECTRA Link, and more. ZOTAC is putting a lot of effort into durability as well, including that metal backplate, rear retention bracket, as well as mid-frame reinforcement. The GPU support stand is also bundled with every triple-fan graphics card model.

The ZOTAC AMP Extreme INFINITY series will be getting a 34 percent larger vapor chamber cooling with composite heatpipes as a part of the new IceStorm 3.0 cooling system. The GeForce RTX 5090 models will also feature Active Fan Control 2.0 feature, which will allow all three fans to be controller independently.

Unfortunately, ZOTAC did not reveal any specific clocks or was yet ready to talk about pricing, but hopefully we'll see them both on retail/e-tail shelves soon and in our hands for some testing.

Interesting, 2 slot for 5070, and 3 slot for 5070Ti.

I'm glad that this clean and simple design has been dominating AIBs so far. :)

I've had enough of the excessive gamery bling, and it looks like I'm not the only one. I guess the success of FE cards had its effect on the industry.

With 2 slots back in action.. sure would be a good time for SLi.. since I have an SLi board :D

Edit:

Either way, this will be my next card..

Oh yes... 2, or maybe 2.5 slots is a must for me. I don't know why AMD motherboards have this stupid thing of leaving an empty slot above the x16 even on m-ATX. If I had a 3-slot card, it would choke to death on my PSU shroud.

Nah, there isn't even a slot there just an m.2. :(

Edit: It's not bad because I have a USB type C there coming from an internal 3.0 port, but it severely limits my GPU choices.

.... 12VHPR saftey light
Too bad I'm not willing to buy that card and screw it over. How fast can the card die with that saftey light feature? How and how fast does the manufacturer deal with rma?

Mmm; really thinking of grabbing a Zotac this time around, if I register the product I can get a 5-year warranty, a 5 year warranty makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and usually it's also indicative that they have faith in their own product line.

Not sure how their support is though, maybe someone can fill in that blank part for me?

So far no need for support, got it a couple of months after launch I guess? Literally thousands of hours in game, even more hours folding.. I think.. might be close now..

At +150 core and +1500 mems the whole time.
