In addition to the Xeneon Edge LCD touchscreen which was the star of the show, a bunch of PSUs, memory modules, and storage devices, Corsair's new Frame 4000D PC case with the FRAME Modular System also caught our attention. The 4000 series was quite popular and it does not come as a surprise that Corsair is pushing for further innovations. By matching the popular system with the FRAME Modular Case System, which, according to Corsair, "sets a new standard for customization," giving users an option to modify, upgrade, and personalize the case with a variety of options.

The FRAME 4000D PC Case is a standard mid-tower ATX PC case built with steel and tempered glass materials, and 3D Y-pattern perforated front panel. The aforementioned FRAME Modular Case System, according to Corsair, gives users a PC case that can change and grow with their needs, with nearly limitless options. According to Corsair, it should offer 12.7 percent better airflow compared to the previous models. It also features Corsair's InfiniRail Fan Mounting System, which brings support for up to 200 mm fans at the front and 140 mm at the top. This means that it can house even larger fans like iCUE LINK RX140. It has three radiator mounting locations, front, top, and side, with support for dual 360 mm radiators.

When it comes to storage options, you get a couple of drive trays (that are completely removable) with support for two 3.5-inch devices or up to four 2.5-inch ones. It supports iCUE LINK integration, dedicated mounting pocket for iCUE LINK System HUB, and even comes with included GPU Anti-Sag Bracket, providing support for modern graphics cards, which is a nice addition considering it is both wider and longer compared to the original 4000D PC case.

The front I/O panel gets two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and can be even swapped out for some other future accessory.

The Corsair FRAME 4000D PC Case comes in Black and White color options, and should already be available directly from Corsair and its partners, starting at $94.99, and hopefully, we'll be able to test it soon.

Corsair also had a FRAME 4000X Prototype PC case on display, which features the same FRAME modular system but with edge-lot galls front cover with support for three additional 120 mm fans, providing further airflow and unique aesthetics. Of course, as a prototype, this could eventually launch later this year.

It feels like pumping features in while cost cutting, like the rather small gpu holder and the "external" pci slots, and thatm ight be just me, but it looks very "off" somehow.

Hey, Corsair... proper 280x followup when? Keep it about the same size and style, just enlarge a tiny bit and make sure thick rads with thick fans fit.
