A pre-launch unboxing the ASUS TUF GAMING Radeon RX 9070 XT OC graphics card model has been shared and documented online—courtesy of a video uploaded to social media over the past weekend. Artline, a computer hardware retailer based in Ukraine, seems to have at least one model in their possession—similarly, stock (from other brands) has been distributed across supply networks to locations around Europe.

AMD and its retail partners are reportedly at loggerheads over proposed launch pricing strategies—the first wave of RDNA 4-equipped products appear to be ready for launch, but debates over "excessive wholesale costs" could delay matters. VideoCardz has reached out to its contacts across distribution and insider networks—they believe that an official AMD announcement could be delivered at some point this week. Team Red representatives recently teased a forthcoming special launch event, but chose to not divulge a specific start date.

VideoCardz noted that another new Navi 48 GPU-based ASUS design has broken cover—a PRIME Radeon RX 9070 model was unboxed by (retailer) MyGear at some point last week:

ASUS Türkiye made an official announcement on social media—highlighted by Tomasz Gawroński and VideoCardz—teasing upcoming information regarding Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 (non-XT) models.

A (likely) placeholder product page for an ASUS TUF GAMING AMD Radeon RX 9070 OC 16 GB model has gone live on the UniMax online store. The Greek e-tailer's listing mentions a potential January 23 launch date, but this could be old information (based on the latest rumors). Pricing (€1199) and specifications are evidently not accurate—according to industry watchdogs.

Really strange that what is supposed to be a middle tier gpu has a heatsink as big as my Pulse 7900XTX.

Anyways, waiting on reviews.

They can be OC to pull 350w~ I think, at least that's what's rumoured in leaks, also how they got them to bench near 4080 levels?

Size doesn't matter, its what you do with it, they say.

But yeah, if you do this with it... :p

Asus is probably re-using an Nvidia cooler, the 3x 8 pins is interesting though. Maybe all the manufacturers are being overly cautious after the 16 pin melting fiasco, going overkill is cheaper than handling RMA's.

I read that the Asus cards were pretty good "last gen". Interested to compare it with some of the AMD only AIBs.

on the upside there's a big chance that even lower-end models will be near silent in use, which is nice

Looks good..

Never did like the TUF branding.

Should have be TITS.

I would hold one in my hand.

One? Typically you hold two...one in each hand...that's more like it bro

of all places...Ukraine? Clearly they're not getting enough of our money, now they need GPUs!

Down to the 4060ti they were mostly aluminum on Nvidia would be kinda funny if the AMD versions are plastic... Its actually the only unique thing vs most other AIB cards which are mostly plastic.
