So, here's something nobody wanted and nobody asked for. SEGA, or should I say, Sammy, just go and make a successor to the Dreamcast if you want to pull stunts like this. Make a new console, then we'll talk "account".

They already made a Dreamcast successor in 2001, it was called Xbox.

Great news. Here’s a new account nobody asked for. By the way, the system doesn’t work, confirmation e-mails are not coming, we know. Good launch. Very cool, Sega. How about you just… don’t? If one really needs or wants to “get news about Sega projects” - just have a newsletter one can subscribe to. The account bullshit is unnecessary.
God I fucking hate corporate gaming.

That is most unfortunate

As much as I love SEGA and their games, this is a really stupid idea. For some incentive, I've had registered nonetheless, because SEGA (like, some really good discounts), but for some Yakuza skin? Nah, just keep it

27 effing years too late SEGA...
This was a great idea starting at Dreamcast that had online games, now another login is just obnoxious...
