be quiet!, the German manufacturer for premium PC components, is renewing its popular Pure Rock series with no less than five unique models: Pure Rock 3 Black, Pure Rock 3 LX, Pure Rock Pro 3 Silver, Pure Rock Pro 3 Black, and Pure Rock Pro 3 LX. The Pro models are the first be quiet! double-tower air coolers for entry-level systems, with an offset design and support for liquid metal thermal grease. All five models come with optimized versions of be quiet!'s award-winning fans: Pure Wings 3 fans result in outstanding performance on non-LX models, while the LX models come with pre-installed Light Wings LX fans for spectacular performance and lighting. All Pure Rock 3 coolers come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

"The Pure Rock 3 series embodies our commitment to delivering high-quality cooling solutions for all users. With its impressive performance, quiet operation, and user-friendly design, these coolers ensure reliable and efficient cooling for any system. We're proud to expand the Pure Rock lineup with even more choices to suit different needs and preferences," says Aaron Licht, CEO of be quiet!.

Pure Rock Pro 3: Double-tower, double power
Despite their compact dimensions, these first double-tower coolers in the Pure Rock series have a TDP of 250 W. This impressive cooling performance is achieved with six high-performance heat pipes with a nickel-plated base, as well as optimized fan options.

Pure Rock Pro 3 Silver is immediately recognizable with its silver/black two-tone design, while Pure Rock Pro 3 Black is aimed at users who are looking for a sleek all-black design. Both models are outfitted with two optimized Pure Wings 3 120 mm PWM fans, with a funnel-shaped air outlet for better performance. Pure Rock Pro 3 LX, which also sports a sleek all-black design, comes with two custom Light Wings LX 120 mm PWM fans for eye-catching ARGB lighting and a very high cooling performance. All Pure Rock Pro 3 have a maximum noise level of 34.8 dB(A) at maximum fan speed.

Installation of Pure Rock Pro 3 is a breeze thanks to an intuitive mounting kit. Its compact, asymmetrical design and an adjustable front fan height result in high RAM and VRM cooler compatibility. Users of an AMD AM5 CPU can benefit from an offset mounting, to center the base plate above the hot spots of their CPU. For the highest performance, Pure Rock Pro 3 is compatible with liquid metal thermal grease.

Pure Rock 3: Unprecedented air pressure in its class
The single-tower Pure Rock 3 comes in two different models: Pure Rock 3 Black and Pure Rock 3 LX. Both air coolers feature an all-black design with four high-performance 6 mm heat pipes with HDT technology, offering a high 190 W TDP cooling capacity for modern CPUs. Pure Rock 3 Black comes pre-installed with an optimized Pure Wings 3 120 mm PWM fan with funnel-shaped air outlet, while the Pure Rock 3 LX model can rely on a specially designed Light Wings LX 120 mm fan that allows for impressive ARGB effects and nicely complement the all-black design of the heat pipes and heat sink. The sound level for both models doesn't exceed 31.2 dB(A) even at maximum fan speed.

For easy installation, the mounting bridge and screws are pre-installed on the cooler. Offset mounting for better compatibility with the latest AMD Ryzen CPUs is supported as well. Thanks to its slim design, Pure Rock 3 increases RAM and VRM cooler compatibility significantly and is the perfect choice for PC cases that have limited space.

Pure Rock 3 is available from March 11 in stores and online.

The regular Pure Rock 3 is similar to Pure Rock Slim I have, with higher TDP rating, 190W vs 120W. I'm happy with its performance. I'm not happy with AM4 mounting mechanism. Next cooler will be with its own mounting, similar to Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 I have in my HTPC.

Not really not when it offers 70w better performance, question is if you need it.
