AMD has quietly updated its web presences with six new processor SKUs—as spotted by Everest (aka Olrak29), and a member of Team Red's subreddit. Community detective work indicates official CPU support lists being updated at some point after February 11. Model names and product identifiers were highlighted; AMD is likely introducing additional Zen 3 "Cezanne" options for OEM partners. The Ryzen 5000G lineup of Zen 3 and Vega iGPU-powered APUs was already well populated, going back to 2021. The "newly" listed AM4 models are: Ryzen 7 5705GE, Ryzen 7 5705G, Ryzen 5 5605GE, Ryzen 5 5605G, Ryzen 3 5305GE and Ryzen 3 5305G.

The familiar "G" tag indicates the presence of an integrated graphics solution; a Cezanne GPU that utilizes GCN 5.1 architecture. A "GE" designation denotes lower power variants; with 35 W TDPs. A small selection of Zen 3-based Ryzen PRO models are available in GE form, including the Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE SKU. Three of the recently discovered models seem to share identical specifications with Team Red's well established roster of Ryzen 7 5700G, Ryzen 5 5600G, and Ryzen 3 5300G options. Currently, dedicated product pages are not populated with information; instead you are greeted with a "404: Page Not Found" warning. AMD is well known for keeping its older technologies alive for long periods; its RDNA 3+ graphics architecture is expected to last until 2027 (or beyond).

I know it's not needed by everyone but just the fact that AMD continues the longevity of the AM4 platform puts others (*ahem* Intel *cough*) to shame. It really highlights the greedy business model of forced and unnecessary platform migration.
And you’re looking at what should be a very mature and stable platform. I don’t mind trading some performance for a well known entity. This is only becoming more evident by the crowd-sourced approach to QA that sure feels commonplace now.

AMD is surely doubling down in keeping AM4 alive as the budget option to AM5. Not that I'm complaining, I have no intention at all of leaving AM4 any soon and it's good to know I'll find motherboards in the event something happens to my X470.

I do not know why this is news everywhere today. I was updating APU graphix drivers on 5800U last friday and these APUs were listed on AMD website. I am pretty sure I noticed them earlier than that when 25.2.1 Beta relased and it wouldn't install on AM4 APUs so I went to the AMD website to download them directly. (As a side note, 25.2.1 beta and 24.12.1 are both listed under 5700G but abviously not compatible with Vega. You can still install addrenalin 24.12.1 but you need to go through the release notes and use the link for Vega.)

OEMs can advertise "New 2025 CPU models" and that's all.
It would make sense to the final consumer, if it was offering something really new. For example, RDNA2/3 graphics instead of Vega.
Well, anyway, 6-16 Zen 3 cores can run any office or other application today and probably the next 10 years and the integrated graphics most games that don't need 3D performance.

Chinese will flood the market.

another batch of binned CPUs. it seems AMD is sorting out their not perfect CPUs very meticulously, they're not leaving anything in the bin
My thoughts exactly. It shows the chiplet design is proving to be very successful. On the other hand, Intel used to have very extensive number of CPU's in offer and I rember reading an article the PR had a hard time navigating it.

What i really want to see on AM4 is Ryzen 5750X3D with 3D V Cache 2.0 technology and higher clocks than 5700X3D not this integrated GPU crap!

If dumping a bunch of bins counts as support, man does intel have AMD beat, considering how many I5 and i3s they put out.

I collect motherboards and CPU's.. sorta.. just kind of happened.

As much as I loved AM4, I don't think I will buy anymore unless they release a dual CCD X3D part. But even then.. I already moved to AM5.

My kids are using AM4, but they don't need any of these parts.

If they put out a 6Ghz 6 core I would get it :D

These are Cezanne APUs, so they're monolithic not chiplets.

Nothing here is binned any different. Ryzen xx05g SKUs are identical to the xx00g SKUs according to the chart. The xx05ge's are just 35W variants of the other Cezanne SKUs and previously were OEM-only with identical specs. The R3 53xx ones are public release of existing OEM-only units, again same specs.

The real difference is these new SKUs don't include the box cooler.

If the price is right I might want to upgrade my X300 box from a 2200G. Originally I wanted to replace it with 5600G/5700G but prices have been holding fairly steady for a long time on those CPU's with few discounts.

I can only imagine with this info what AM5 7000 series bins haven't been released yet.

Would be nice if they offer RDNA iGPU for AM4 but one can only dream...with crap dGPU market it would be nice to have iGPU that can play modern game. Not that GCN iGPU can't run modern game but RDNA arch uplift is welcomed even if it's a small one.

Cool and all! but I would of loved to have some of these new APU's with updated RDNA graphics instead of the old Vega then I would be all over these big time!

Long live AM4 I guess!

the greedy business model of forced and unnecessary platform migration.
I can also say that the mindset of old= bad so you must upgrade, is very much spread on forums too. im one for making everything last as long as I can and I like buying older gear at 1/4 prices. this constant push of you must upgrade is a joke and Im sure many PR reps here from companies have that agenda of "dont buy old, upgrade". they push it on people here and other forums.

when I was starting to shop for an am4 build, tons would push for am5 build. bang for buck makes no sense to buy am5. youre paying more for the performance, but then add ram prices which are are double ddr4, mb are at a premium. the jump is then small at a large price premium. the amount of money you need to put down for am5 vs am4 makes no sense.

in dec I just bought a 5950x for editing. the cpu did editing fine back then, why wouldnt it now. that cpu cost $800 at launch!! and I got that for $300. thats my mindset. not pay for a beta product, not pay a premium "new" price. hell, people paying $1400 for a phone year after year and here I am accumalating stock of lg v20 to have for another 10 years at $70 each. swappable batteries, IR remote, DAC and omg, an audio jack.

I dont fall for hype stupidity, or influencers and I dont conform. my biggest issue is the world is consuming way way too much. mother nature has been very patient.
