GSMA MWC Barcelona, runs from March 3 to 6, 2025 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain. AMD is proud to participate in forward-thinking discussions and demos around AI, edge and cloud computing, the long-term revolutionary potential of moonshot technologies like quantum processing, and more. Check out the AMD hospitality suite in Hall 2 (Stand 2M61) and explore our demos and system design wins. Attendees are welcome to stop by informally or schedule a time slot with us.
As modern networks evolve, high-performance computing, energy efficiency, and AI acceleration are becoming just as critical as connectivity itself. AMD is at the forefront of this transformation, delivering solutions that power next-generation cloud, AI, and networking infrastructure. Our demos this year showcase AMD EPYC, AMD Instinct, and AMD Ryzen AI processors, as well as AMD Versal adaptive SoC and Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC devices.
Join AMD for one or more of these activations:
Hear from our leaders on Tuesday March 4:
Back at the demo booth, we have live demos showing how new, Kubernetes-accessible APIs for AMD EPYC power management can dramatically reduce power consumption in 5G UPF workloads while maintaining performance and QoS requirements. Attendees who are interested in further Kubernetes optimizations can consult the AMD tuning guide for EPYC 9004 and EPYC 7003 Series processors.
Feel free to join for a demo of our AMD EPYC processors to see in action how they combine high performance, energy efficiency, and leadership core counts to help our customers consolidate network functions, services, and emerging AI deployments on supremely scalable data center infrastructure.
AI is expected to play a significant role in 6G. Nokia lists AI/ML operations as one of six "core" technologies critical to the future wireless standard. In partnership with Nokia, AMD is featuring a Nokia CMG (Cloud Mobile Gateway) system powered by AMD EPYC processors, highlighting the performance and flexibility our CPUs deliver at the edge. Also at the event, AMD will showcase its Versal adaptive SoCs enabling 5G and 6G sensing with AI integrated on the same silicon.
We're also excited to show off Parallel Wireless' GreenRAN and its hardware-agnostic 5G Massive MIMO DU running on AMD EPYC processors and leveraging the AMD Zynq Ultrascale+ RFSoC adaptive radio platform. Parallel Wireless announced that it would offer an AMD EPYC processor solution just before MWC Barcelona 2024, and it's great to see them back a year later with silicon.
Additionally, AMD will exhibit a variety of laptops including AMD Ryzen AI processors that deliver the AI flexibility and performance modern enterprises want across a range of price points, without compromising core competencies like battery life or CPU performance. The addition of the AMD Ryzen AI Max PRO Series processors at the top of the stack gives AMD and its OEM partners a unique high- memory platform for compact, mobile workstations with great performance and power efficiency.
