Secure file access - without the need of a server
The SSD2GO PKT delivers up to 4 TB of unrestricted, effortless, secure, and private file access - without needing a server. Important files and creative work remain safe, no matter what.

Sleek, small, eye-catching
Designed in Austria, the ultra-compact SSD2GO PKT perfectly combines sturdiness and lightweight design. It's sure to get noticed, not just for its performance but also for its design.

Seamless recording
Angelbird's Stable Stream guarantees stable, consistent performance across all modes and throughout the entire capacity of the SSD. With a sustained write speed of 1600 MB/s, the SSD2GO PKT captures consistent, high-resolution quality in every frame while recording. This also means almost instant file access and editing speed during post-production moments under pressure.

Effortless data protection
The SSD2GO PKT comes with a user-friendly feature, the Write-Protect-Switch, preventing users from unintentionally deleting, formatting, or transferring unwanted data to the SSD. Data safety is ensured through its unique Read-Only mode functionality, providing an extra layer of protection for critical files.

Features bound to impress
The SSD2GO PKT features Angelbird's Solid Connect. The recessed connection point of the drive ensures stable, uninterrupted data transfer and minimizes cable wear and tear. Angelbird issues regular firmware updates to maintain the drive's high performance and ensure long-term compatibility with devices and cameras and recorders.

It's most certainly TLC but for that price, I'd expect that to be stated in the specs. And write endurance too.

So around the same prices as Prograde and Exascend offerings but much more compact, if quality decent and they dont overheat should be a good option for video shooters(granted there are only handful of cameras that come with 10Gbps USB connection and even 5Gbps isnt particularly common).

If I'm not mistaken, the entire chassis is aluminium and thermal-padded to the chips inside similar to how my old USB3 10G PKT(1) CFexpress readers are. Wonderful bits of hardware, but I really do wish they were USB4.

Generic aftermarket Replacement cables will not have the same dimension and will ruin that good idea.

Maybe not, maybe yes. Those who buy on Ali will have to take measurements from the totally photoshopped product photos and hope for luck, then re-format connectors with a knife.

I have that setup in my older AB CFe-B card readers. Most of my aftermarket cables fit just fine in the recess, but without fully filling the hole.
