AMD today released the latest version of the AMD Software Adrenalin drivers. Version 25.3.2 Beta comes with optimization for "Assassin's Creed Shadows," and "The Last of Us Part II Remastered." The drivers also come with a number of important fixes. To begin with, a bug that causes incorrect gamma when playing "Counter Strike 2" with MSAA 8x on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards, has been fixed. An intermittent application crash seen in "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" with very high settings and path tracing enabled, has been fixed. The drivers come with fixes for the ADL SDK that ensure that the correct ROP count is displayed for third party tools.

Lower than expected performance noticed with "Assetto Corsa Competizione" on RX 9070 series graphics cards, has been fixed. An intermittent crash noticed when pressing Alt+Tab during gameplay on GPUs such as the RX 6000 series, has been fixed. A system or application crash noticed when running multiple high refresh rate monitors (> 120 Hz) with HDMI connectors, has been fixed. And lastly, a bug that causes Windows 11 to override the latest installed AMD-provided drivers with older ones on RX 9070 series, has been fixed.

New Game Support
  • Assassin's Creed Shadows
  • The Last of Us Part II Remastered
Fixed Issues and Improvements
  • Incorrect gamma is exhibited while playing Counter-Strike 2 and using MSAA x8 on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics products.
  • Intermittent application crash may be observed in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle when settings are set to "Very Ultra" quality and Path Tracing is enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use the default Ray Tracing settings as a temporary workaround.
  • 3rd party tools that rely on our ADL SDK for detecting ROPs count will incorrectly report 64 ROPs.
  • Lower than expected performance may be observed while playing Assetto Corsa Competizione on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
  • Intermittent system or application crash may be observed while pressing Alt-Tab during gameplay on some AMD Radeon Graphics Products such as the Radeon RX 6000 Series.
  • Intermittent system or application crash may be observed while using multiple high refresh rate (+120 Hz) monitors with HDMI connections.
  • Windows Update may overwrite the installed AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with an older version of the graphics driver on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
Developer Updates
  • AMD Radeon Developer Tool Suite (RDTS) update with support for AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics cards is available now.
  • AMD FSR 3.1 is now available in over 110 available and upcoming games.
Known Issues
  • System crash may be observed due to a memory leak when using SteamVR on some AMD Radeon Graphics Products, such as the Radeon RX 9000 series. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to turn off Motion Smoothing in SteamVR settings.
  • Performance logging notifications from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may appear while using the Right Alt + L hotkey if the Microsoft Windows display language is not English.
  • Intermittent crash of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition may be observed while playing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with AMD Image Inspector enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to disable AMD Image Inspector as a temporary workaround.
  • Lower than expected performance may be observed when using YouTube on the Microsoft Edge web browser immediately after a driver install. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to restart Microsoft Edge and relaunch YouTube as a temporary workaround.
  • After using the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows, the AMD Bug Report Tool may appear intermittently during a new driver install on AMD Ryzen 7000 and above series processors paired with AMD Graphics Products.
  • After completing a driver upgrade on certain laptops, users may experience intermittent failures for the integrated camera to start. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows and use our previous recommended driver, available here.
  • Stutter may be observed while playing games with some VR headsets at 80 Hz or 90 Hz refresh rate on some AMD Radeon Graphics Products such as the Radeon RX 7000 series. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to change the refresh rate as a temporary workaround.
  • Installation progress may persistently display 0% while installing chipset drivers using AMD Install Manager.
  • Installation progress may persistently display 0% while installing AMD Chat within the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition user interface after upgrading to AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics products.

besides it fixing the driver rollback will they be able to fix the tuning settings not sticking?

if i just use advanced fan control i will come back to my gpu saying default tuning but it will make my gpu ramp up to 100 pecent fan use and never get my settings right

global or otherwise

Anything with FSR 3.1 can be overridden to use FSR 4 through the driver. Can't seem to find further info on this. It would be nice if AMD could provide a list of these 110 games.

I've noticed the performance tuning resets to default under certain circumstances, such as after a game/driver crash or changes to CPU tune (eco mode, PBO, etc). Other than those scenarios, my tuning seems to stick long term. Does that maybe explain it? Seems to be an expected failsafe sort of behavior.

I had a terrible time with this. I ended up putting my settings on global then going into every game/app it detected and setting them to global. This was a real ball ache and shouldn't be the case. I really dislike the way settings in Adrenaline works just give me one tab for settings, one for games and one for features and all features are disabled by default. Instead we have a mess requiring you to hunt around.

This may be a firmware level thing too, because the same thing happens to me in Linux. If I get a GPU crash it resets my undervolt and fan curve.

I fixed it had to go into what power button does in control panel and disable fast boot

now it will atleast keep my fan curve but loses undervolt so i just saved a profile oh well

Its not so much its crashing but its losing global settings on reboot and has strange behavior going from app to app. Im default minus a fan curve my processor is even in pbo auto 7800x3d
