The modern workplace is evolving, demanding seamless connectivity, enhanced security, and all-day comfort. iiyama is stepping up to meet these needs with the introduction of three ultra-wide desktop monitors featuring KVM and USB-C docking: XCB3497WQSNPH, XCB3497WQSNP, and XCB3494WQSU. Designed for professionals who juggle multiple devices and require effortless collaboration.

At the forefront of this lineup is the XCB3497WQSNPH-B1, a 34" VA UWQHD curved monitor configured for productivity and immersion. Packed with smart features, it brings convenience, security, and ergonomic excellence to any workspace.

Logging into a work device should be as effortless as unlocking a smartphone. The XCB3497WQSNPH features an integrated 5MP autofocus webcam supporting Windows Hello, users can access their devices securely in seconds using facial recognition, eliminating the need for passwords. The webcam also includes a privacy shutter, ensuring user control over their privacy when the camera is not in use.

With hybrid work becoming the norm, professionals often switch between devices throughout the day. The built-in KVM switch in the iiyama desktops allows users to control multiple PCs with a single keyboard and mouse - simply change the input via the monitor's OSD menu, and all connected peripherals follow. The USB-C dock further simplifies the setup by allowing a single cable connection to charge a laptop, connect to a wired network, and transmit video and data, reducing desk clutter and improving workflow efficiency.

The ergonomic 15 cm height-adjustable stand ensures optimal positioning, reducing strain during long working hours. The ultrawide curved display provides an immersive viewing experience with deep contrast, vibrant colours, and wide viewing angles, making it perfect for multitasking, content creation, or simply enjoying high-quality visuals.

Whether in an office, home workspace, or hybrid setup, iiyama's latest desktop monitors empower professionals with the tools they need to stay connected, comfortable, and productive. The XCB3497WQSNPH-B1 and its counterparts are now available for businesses and individuals looking to upgrade their workspace with smarter, more efficient technology.

I'm not used to a curved screen...especially ultrawide. I've used them and currently use one...just something about it feels weird... but then again my current monitor has pretty poor viewing angles so the corners are darker than the center...kinda annoying that the curvature fixes....

I guess it depends on a few things.
I've recently switched to a 30" 2560x1080 21:9 R1500 curved monitor from a 29" 2560x1080 21:9 flat one that I've used for 6 years and it took me a weekend at most to get used to the curve and now I actually prefer it. 'its easier on my eyes cause of the sides are easier to see for me, I sit around 1 stretched arm's lenght from the monitor and this way its perfect for me'
In my monitor's case I've did not notice color differences from this angle/distance.

Curved screens means your eyes don't have to refocus as you turn your head. I'd argue that is a bad thing... we spend too much time looking at screens with fixed stares.

What is stopping any company from making a 3200x1800 screen? How did we skip it straight to 4K?

Nice features with 90W USB-C PD and even ethernet, just to ruin it with a crappy VA panel :(

At least it's 120hz - not that they bothered to mention it on the press release - but cmon, a VA panel!?

Standard fare really. VA on a curved panel is pretty good though.

I have a similar product from a few years ago a Philips 346b1c. It's great for mixed use single player non competitive gaming plus office and some non-professional photo editing. VA panel is decent, integrated KVM switch is a must for me, as I switch gaming PC and work laptop with minimal clutter. If I have to replace it I would definitely be looking into something like this.
