Surely I'm not going crazy here looking at Gigabyte's warranty terms:
"If a Product is near the end of a given warranty period and a repair/replacement is not possible, GIGABYTE reserves the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value or a partial refund proportional to the remaining warranty life of the Product."

Since when did Gigabyte change it's warranty terms to that typically found on wear products like tires and batteries? This doesn't make any sense in the PC industry, graphics cards don't wear like those kind of products. A 1080 Ti is mostly going to play game x the same over it's entire lifespan, meanwhile a tire's performance declines heavily with use with a certain end after enough wear.
I really do miss EVGA, it just feels like ever increasingly anti-consumer behavior from these companies.
