No its not cutting 14 holes in a case nor is it a hardcore mod.
But thanks for the sarcasm, not looking for anyones approval, just thought Id put it out here.
The knife works great!
Slots? I knew this before I got the card, I dont need them.

Naw, I'm good

I'm not disputing that its a great cooler, I just don't find it practical...

Next time your doing thermal paste try using the edge of a credit card. Should make things a little easier.

i'm NOT "dissing" him, he did a good job, i'm just pointing out the fact that the title is misleading. i thought maybe he vmodded it or something.
and no, i don't have anything better to do!

Yeh card cost me 600$, I see that now, I thought this was a more mature board.
As you can see I really don't care for the comments, but I have yet to see someone else do this is some other forums, all i can find is reviews, benchmarks and test on this cooler.
Also I have not trolled 50 other forums looking for it either.
I saw this reviewed by the staff here, and I like the review + some other sites and decided to buy it to extend the life of my card and run it cooler, not to OC the CORE to 800mhz.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Thermalright/HR-03Plus

Pic below is from there review of the different fans
http://www.ocia.net/articles/thermalrighthr03plus/page5.shtml

So I thought Id show it in actual form working, and it works great and say thanks to this site for making me aware of the cooler for the 8800 Ultra series as I have yet to see many besides the new water cooled one and the black pearl, I really don't like the fact of water being near my 2000$ system, so I will stick with fans.

Water cooling is safer than you might think.

Fluid Xp Coolant is also non conductive so you could pour it on your parts while they were running and nothing would happen.

I'm cheap so I just use distilled water with tubing that doesn't allow light in, but I have seen it save a guys computer before.
