Mods:
Gave case a soapy bath. Cut front panel - just keeping top part to cover dvd drive and card bay. Spray painted top hood, card reader sides&logo and front panel matt black. Installed 2 illuminated push-lock switches and 2 push switches (where the usb slots used to be) for power led, HD led, reset and power on. Super glued a trimmed piece of metal mesh from the original panel to the gaping hole in front of the hard disks. Installed front fan & akasa guard and top blowhole fan. Tucked away cables nice with cable ties. The stock fan on my x1950 made a terrible grinding sound, so replaced it with the arctic cooling accelero x2 which works a treat - far quieter and has reduced temps a few degrees
The pre-built P4 pc I had couldn't handle the x1950pro I got, so decided to upgrade my cpu and motherboard. Finding this case in my street was nicely timed. I don't want any lights in my case - I like pitch black to sleep - the front led's can be switched off for night-time uploading.
